John Harbaugh voices frustration with training camp memos

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh is frustrated with the NFL’s coronavirus pandemic social distancing policies. Harbaugh told 105.7 The Fan that he doesn’t understand how NFL teams can get ready for the season with the specific distancing rules the league put into place the past couple of weeks.

Harbaugh said, “I’m pretty sure the huddle is not going to be 6-feet spaced. Are guys going to shower one at a time all day? Are guys going to lift weights one at a time all day? These are things the league and the [players’ association] needs to get a handle on and needs to get agreed with some common sense so we can operate in a 13-hour day in training camp that they’re giving us and get our work done.”

Training camps start in late July. By then, the Super Bowl winning coach hopes there’s more communication as to how NFL teams should proceed.

“That’s the one thing, you can tell by my voice, I’m a little frustrated with what I’m hearing there. And I think they need to get that pinned down a little better,” Harbaugh said.

Ezekiel Elliott, other Cowboys, a couple of Texans, test positive for coronavirus

Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott tested positive for coronavirus. Per a statement from the Cowboys, he’s doing okay.

Zeke wondered on Twitter how come his medical information became public. The star running back tweeted, “HIPAA?”, referring to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.

Elliott isn’t the only Cowboy to test positive for Covid-19. A few other players, their names were withheld, also tested positive. So did a couple of Houston Texans players.

Zeke has a point, of course. Not only did someone release the information to the public that he had tested positive for the coronavirus, they didn’t release the names of any other Cowboy player who had.

It sure looks like someone singled out Ezekiel Elliot.

Which NFL squad will lose the most games this season? You can bet on it!

One of the more interesting wagers is on which team loses the most games. Check out a list of the top 7 NFL squads.

  • Jacksonville Jaguars +225
  • Carolina Panthers +600
  • Washington Redskins +550
  • Cincinnati Bengals +650
  • Miami Dolphins +1000
  • New York Giants +1000
  • New York Jets +1000

It’s hard to go against the Jaguars because the franchise is in disarray. Then again, the Jets and Giants offer overlay odds.

One team sports bettors should not back before doing their research are the Miami Dolphins. Miami could make a push for the NFC East title this season now that Terrific Tom is in Tampa Bay.

It depends on the Dolphins offensive line and defense. If those two things come together, Miami could surprise.

The NFL appears almost ready to go. Do your homework, get money down on your best future bets, and then wait for late July!
