1. Martin Truex Jr.

Truex Jr. won here in the spring and he’s won two of the last three NASCAR Monster Energy races coming into this year’s Drydene 400. The 2017 NASCAR champ also took home the checkered flag at Dover in the fall of 2016 and the spring of 2007, making this year’s win leader my top pick to win this coming weekend.

2. Chase Elliott

In his seven starts at the track, Elliott has managed to record six top-five finishes, including one win in last year’s event. Elliott also won a week ago at the Roval, and comes into this event with a ton of momentum.

3. Kyle Busch

Busch won here in the fall of 2017, the fall of 2011 and the spring of 2008, but he hasn’t found his way into victory lane since June 2 at Pocono Raceway.

4. Kevin Harvick

Harvick only has two wins in 37 starts at the track, but one of those victories came in the spring of 2018.

5. Kyle Larson

Larson doesn’t have a single victory this year and he’s never won at Dover, which is why I’m surprised the 27-year-old Californian is such a high favorite to win this year’s race.
