Angel Acosta vs Elwin Soto

Puerto Rican fighter Angel Acosta has a fantastic 20-1-0 record. His loss happened versus Kosei Tanaka back in 2017. Since the loss, Acosta has won 4 straight. What’s really crazy is that of his 21 victories, he’s won 20 via technical knockout or knockout.

Elwin Soto is 14-1. He hasn’t fought anyone close to the caliber of Angel Acosta. Soto’s loss happened in his third fight. He’s gotten much better since then, but this is to big of a leap forward. Unless Acosta has trouble making weight, he should easily handle Soto on Friday.

Boxing Betting Pick: Angel Acosta

Andrew Cancio vs Alberto Machado

Andrew Cancio takes on Alberto Machado in DAZN’s main event on Friday. Back in February, Cancio, 20-4-2 knocked out Machado, 21-1-0. Cancio floored Machado with a straight right to the body. Machado rose, but Cancio continued hitting him in the body until he decided to call it quits.

Up until that moment, Cancio appeared in charge of the fight. However, Machado has a big shot of exacting revenge. He’s 5’ 10” compared to Cancio’s 5’ 6”. Machado also has a 4-inch reach advantage. He should beat Cancio on June 21.

Boxing Betting Pick: Alberto Machado

Guillermo Rigondeaux vs Julio Ceja

32-3-0 Julio Ceja is one of those tough Mexican inside fighters who prefers to mix it up. He’s not afraid of anything. That could cause him problems versus Guillermo Rigondeaux. The Cuban fighter, 18-1-0, hung with Vasiliy Lomachenko a couple of fights ago.

Rigondeaux couldn’t handle Lomachenko’s superior hand speed. He beat Giovanni Delgado in his last fight. Guillermo will find Ceja more like he did Delgado than Vasiliy. He should knock out Ceja on Sunday.

Boxing Betting Pick: Guillermo RigondeauxJermell Charlo vs Jorge Cota

Jermell Charlo attempts to get back to winning when he takes on Jorge Cota on June 23. In his last fight, Charlo lost via unanimous decision to Tony Harrison. Charlo should have no trouble beating Cota.

The key will be if Charlo can get over the loss to Harrison. If he’s put that behind him, his hand speed will ensure a victory over Cota. One thing Charlo must worry about is that Cota can counter punch well. If Charlo is too aggressive, Cota can catch him. Still, Jermell Charlo is the superior boxer in this matchup. He should win.

Boxing Betting Pick: Jermell Charlo
