Texas Tech at Oklahoma, Pick: Texas Tech (+14)

If the shaky Longhorns were able to frustrate Oklahoma’s QB Baker Mayfield two weeks ago with never-ending sacks, the Red Raiders should be able to do more-or-less the same, or better. Added to mind-blowing efficiency of Red Raiders QB Patrick Mahomes(2618 passing yards and 20 TDs against just 6 picks this season), Texas Tech should be able to keep Oklahoma’s win margin low, if not deliver a full upset.

Wisconsin at Illinois, Pick: Illinois (+6)

The Illini are not that tough at home, but the Badgers haven’t been that good on the road either. With such deficiencies canceling out each other, this game will come down to a few things like motivation and home vs. road advantage. And having assessed all that, especially with Illinois’ win over Nebraska in mind, the Illini should be good for the cover here.

Tennessee at Alabama, Pick: Alabama (-15)

Alabama has been playing quite well recently, and hosting the erratic Vols at home this week should offer the Tide an opportunity to continue their dominance, winning by 2-plus TDs and covering rather easily.

No. 3 Utah at USC, Pick: Utah (+3.5)

The Trojans have been on the slide, and Cody Kessler is no longer a flamethrower, so Devontae Booker and the resilient Utes should be able to grind out a win plus cover here.
