The NASCAR season is a long haul, so we should probably not get too carried away by the results in the early going. Some drivers are going to come out hot and try to set the tone, while others will take some time to get rolling. For the third race of the season, we will be in Las Vegas this weekend, where this will be a packed schedule. We will do out best to cover all the action, but for the purposes of this piece, we are going to focus on the Alsco Uniforms 300 in the Xfinity Series. We have had 2 different winners through the opening 2 races, so is that a trend that will continue this coming Saturday? Let’s take a look at the current favorites for the Alsco Uniforms 300 so you can get ready to bet against their NASCAR Xfinity Series Odds.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Betting Preview for Alsco Uniforms 300 Race
Noah Gragson (+450)
Over the past 3 seasons, Gragson has been incredibly consistent and has had a better overall finish with each passing year. He has finished 8th, 5th, and 3rd, respectively, so might this be the season where he wins it all in the Xfinity Series? Well, he has not picked up a win in the opening 2 races of the season, but he has been on the podium for both, which is why he is currently at the top of the NASCAR Xfinity Series Standings. He has had 3 prior runs at the Las Vegas track and has finished in the top 5 in each of those runs, so perhaps not surprise that he is up among the favorites on Saturday.
Ty Gibbs (+450)
At just 19 years of age, Ty Gibbs is one for the future, although there are plenty of NASCAR fans who believe that his future is now. Gibbs races sporadically in the Xfinity Series last season, yet still managed to finish 13th overall after picking up 4 wins on the season. It has been a bit of a slower start to 2022, with Gibbs finishing outside the top 10 in both races to this point. The expectations are high for this young man, so look for him to settle in and improve as the season progresses. He did not race in Las Vegas last season, so nothing to go on there.
Justin Allgaier (+600)
You cannot get more consistent than Allgaier has been in his time with the Xfinity Series, never finishing worse that 7th overall in the driver standings since 2009. The one thing that has escaped him to this point is a championship, and he has to be considered one of the best drivers never to pick up a title. Does that change in 2022? Allgaier has been his usual consistent self through the opening 2 races of the season, finishing 5th and 8th, respectively.
AJ Allmendinger (+700)
After years playing his trade in the Cup Series, Allmendinger made the jump to the Xfinity Series on a full-time basis last season. It was a move that looked very much inspired, as Allmendinger had a great season, coming up just a little short and finishing 4th overall in the driver standings. He started the season well with a 2nd place run at Daytona and a 7th last weekend. He’ll be hoping for a repeat performance of his run in Las Vegas last season, when he took the checkered flag.
