NBA fans will be in for a treat this weekend, starting on Friday to Sunday, with a host of enticing matchups that are guaranteed to keep you glued to your television. Below is a brief look at these games and a brief betting preview and predictions for hoops fans that are interested in wagering on the respective NBA betting lines of the matchups.

Miami Heat at Washington Wizards, 7:00 PM ET, SUN/ CSNB

On Friday, the Miami Heat will be hosted by the Washington Wizards at the Verizon Center. After taking down the Lakers 100-94 on Friday, this will be an opportunity for Miami (6-4 SU in last 10 games) to record a third straight win. Meanwhile, the Wizards are coming of a 97-92 loss against the Bulls and are hoping to get back to winning ways.wizards-nba-betting-linesNBA Betting Lines Prediction: Washington bounces back from its funk with a win and cover over Miami. Total stays UNDER as both teams play a rather muted game.

Toronto Raptors at Charlotte Hornets, 7:00 PM ET, Sportsnet One/ SPSO

Though the Toronto Raptors had a bright start to the season, they have lost six of their last seven games. With a three-game road trip slated ahead of them, starting with Friday’s game against the Hornets, the Raptors will need to give their best game if they are to keep up with the tight race in the Eastern Conference standings. The Hornets, on the other hand, have won their last three games in a row, with Mo Williams leading the team with 21.6 points and 8.9 assists.raptors-nba-betting-linesNBA Betting Lines Prediction: DeMar DeRozan (18.4 points and 4.3 rebounds) combine with Louis Williams (15.5 points and two assists) to take down the Hornets for a crucial road win plus cover. Total probably stays low for an UNDER since both teams have been struggling to put up many points recently.

Cleveland Cavaliers at Atlanta Hawks, 7:30 PM ET, FSOH/ SPSO

After downing the Raptors 120-112 on Wednesday, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping to put a stop to the Atlanta Hawks, who are riding on a five-game winning streak, including their hard-earned 104-96 win over the Rockets on Tuesday.cavaliers-nba-betting-linesNBA Betting Lines Prediction: Though the Hawks have already clinched a playoff spot, they’ll want to prove that they are better than the Cavs. Conversely, the in-form trio of Kevin Love, James and Kyrie Irving need the win more than the Hawks to keep up with other teams in the East. All in all, I’ll take the Hawks for a narrow win plus cover, with the total going OVER.

Dallas Mavericks at Golden State Warriors, 10: 30 PM ET, FSSW/ CSNB/ ESPN

Dallas Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle said that center Tyson Chandler (10.6 points and a team-high 11.7 RPG this season) will be fit to play Friday’s game against the Golden State this Friday. Chandler, who most plays as the enforcer in the middle of the court, will need to be on his best of games as he will be facing the legion of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Shaun Livingston and Draymond Green, who are coming off a thrilling 102-93 win over the Bucs on Wednesday, a game all the four players scored more than 15 points each.warriors-nba-betting-linesNBA Betting Lines Prediction: The Warriors, who improved to an NBA-best 25-2 SU record at home with the win over Milwaukee, continue with their solid home streak, beating Dallas by more than 10 points to cover the spread, with the total looking likely to stay UNDER in an averagely scoring affair.

Phoenix at Cleveland, 7:30 PM ET, FSAZ/ FSOH/ NBATV

The Phoenix Suns are coming off a crucial 105-100 win over Orlando Magic on Wednesday, a game that Brandon Knight led with 28 markers, Markief Morris added 23, while Eric Bledsoe posted team-bests of 9 assists and 7 rebounds. Though the win snapped their the Suns’ two-game losing streak, it looks like they’ll be starting another skid this Saturday as they meet the four-time MVP LeBron James and the Cavaliers, who are 20-4 SU in their last 24 outings.cavaliers-nba-betting-oddsNBA Betting Lines Prediction: The Suns give a hearty fight, piling up a decent number of points through their 105.6 PPG scoring average (third best in league), but James and Co. prove too hot to handle and cruise to a win plus cover. Total probably goes OVER since both offenses are adept at scoring.

Chicago Bulls at San Antonio Spurs, 1:00 PM ET, ABC

Following their loss to the LA Clippers on March 1st, the Bulls bounced back with a thrilling 97-92 win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday for their third victory in five games.  Meanwhile, the Spurs are also coming off an impressive 112-85 rout over the Kings on Wednesday–their biggest home win of the season, hence will be gunning for another win this Sunday to impress their home fans.bulls-nba-betting-oddsNBA Betting Lines Prediction: The Spurs give another strong home performance, but the Bulls just about escape with the win minus the ATS. An averagely-scoring game looks likely in a more defense-oriented matchup that keeps the total UNDER.

Los Angeles Clippers at Golden State, 3:30 PM ET, ABC

Basketball fans will be treated to another showdown between Stephen Curry and Chris Paul in the bid to prove who is the best of the two point guards. Meanwhile, Blake Griffin may be returning for the Clippers in this game, which of course would be huge boost, considering he is their leading scorer. That being said, expect an end-to-end thriller as both teams flex the muscles of their robust offenses.warriors-nba-betting-linesNBA Betting Lines Prediction: Chris Paul scores more points than Curry, but the Warriors take care of business at home to extend their home record, which is currently at the 25-2 mark.

Toronto Raptors at Oklahoma City Thunder, 7:00 PM ET, TSN2, FSOK, NBATV

Even without the on-fire Russell Westbrook (who scored his fourth successive triple-double in OKC’s 123-118 OT win over the 76ers on Wednesday), it is not going to be easy for Toronto to take down the Thunder this Sunday. Westbrook, who posted career-highs of 49 points and 16 rebounds, plus 10 assists in that record-breaking game, will be undergoing surgery over the weekend after he suffered another injury on Wednesday. On the other hand, Toronto’s Jonas Valanciunas scored 26 points and 11 rebounds, but it was not enough to help them avoid the 120-112 loss to the Cavaliers.thunder-nba-betting-oddsNBA Betting Lines Prediction: Road games have been a daunting task for the Raptors, who are just 12-11 SU in their last 23 road games. Meanwhile, OKC is 5-0 SU and 4-1 ATS in its last five home games. So, even without their magnificent All-Star man, the Thunder should be able claim a win plus cover over the Raptors. Total definitely goes OVER in high-scoring affair.
