College Football Week 5 Top Games Expert Predictions

Written by on September 27, 2016

It’s hard to believe that the first month of the 2016 college football season is already in the books, but that is indeed the case. As we head into Week 5 of the season, we are starting to see more conference and divisional games hit the schedule, which is always fun for the fans. There are a number of marquee match-ups on tap for this coming Saturday, which means a lot of betting opportunities for those of you who love a wager on the college games. Narrowing down the top online betting games to just a few is tough, especially with a stacked schedule, but these are the ones that have got my attention.

In Depth Analysis On The College Football Week 5 Top Games Expert Predictions

Wisconsin Badgers at Michigan Wolverines

We all knew that the Big 10 was going to be competitive this year, and now that we are heading into conference play, we should start to be able to see who the real contenders are going to be. Both of these teams are coming into this one at 4-0, with Michigan Wolverines ranked number 4, and the Badgers ranked number 8. A loss here would not necessarily take either of these teams out of the playoff picture, but it would certainly mean that the loser would likely have to go unbeaten the rest of the way. A ton of pressure here, and that usually makes for a very good game.

Tennessee Volunteers at Georgia Bulldogs

The Volunteers came into the season as the betting odds favorite to win the SEC East, but they had struggled through their first 3 games, albeit going unbeaten. It finally looked as though that poor play was going to catch up to them against Florida last week, but a stunning second half performance turned things around and took them to 4-0. Georgia come in to this one at 3-1 after getting pounded at Ole Miss, but can take control of the East with a win over Tennessee between the hedges on Saturday.

Louisville Cardinals at Clemson Tigers

It really doesn’t get much better than this match-up on Saturday, as the number 3 ranked Louisville Cardinals go on the road to face the number 5 ranked Clemson Tigers. Clemson have been struggling to get back to the form that saw them go all the way to the National Championship game last season, while the Cardinals have been blowing away everyone in their path. This is a stern test for both teams, and with only one of these two likely to make it to the final 4, it could essentially be a make or break game for them both.

Miami Hurricanes at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Miami have been creeping up the rankings all season long, and have looked good in doing so, but it has to be said that this might be the first real test in the Mark Richt era. The Yellow Jackets are a much better team than they showed last week versus Clemson, and you can bet that they will want to do all they can to get that nasty taste out of their mouth. Are the Hurricanes for real this year? This game might just tell us.
