Over the past few seasons, the Oregon Ducks have arguably been one of the most exciting teams to watch in the NCAAF and a sure college football odds pick. Despite their offensive prowess, they have always managed to have a loss or two that has kept them out of National Championship contention. They had one of those games again this season, but with the new playoff format, they are still very much in with a shot of winning it all.

Why Bet on the Oregon State Beavers

It has been something of a miserable season for the season for the Beavers, as they have lost 5 of their last 6 outings. What came as a surprise to everyone that follows football is that the lone win they had during that stretch was against the high flying Arizona State Sun Devils. That win essentially killed off Arizona State’s chances of making it to the playoff, and they are now going to need some help if they are to make it to the Pac-12 Championship game versus the Oregon Ducks.

Why Bet on the Oregon Ducks

The Ducks still have some work to do if they want to be a part of the inaugural college football playoff. They have already booked their ticket to the Pac-12 Championship Game, but they can’t be looking to far ahead, as there is still the Oregon State Beavers to take care of this coming weekend. They have remained incredibly focused ever since going down to Arizona, and the Ducks have reeled off 6 straight wins since taking that loss. They have been putting a ton of points on the board during that stretch, and have been effective in both the running and passing game.

My Expert Betting Analysis, Prediction & Pick

The general consensus amongst everyone is that the Ducks will roll over the Beavers this coming weekend, which is why they are coming in as a 20-point favorite. The Ducks are 7-4 ATS on the season, and are also a very healthy 6-2 ATS when playing conference opponents. They have also covered in the last 6 games that they have won. Oregon State are just 3-8 ATS this season, and have been especially dismal when going against other teams in their conference. They are just 2-4 ATS at home, and are also 1-4 ATS as an underdog. Oregon has won the two games they have played against the Beavers over the past three seasons, although they did go 1-1 ATS. I just don’t see this one as being very competitive at all. The Beavers will be looking to avoid a total shellacking, but I just don’t think they will be able to withstand the attack of the Ducks, which is why I like Oregon -20.
