Sharp College Football Betting Picks of the Week | Nov. 8th Edition

2021 College Football Week 11

  • When: Tuesday, Nov. 9 – Saturday, Nov. 13

North Carolina Tar Heels vs Pittsburgh Panthers -6

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 11

North Carolina’s victory over Wake should set them up for a top effort against the Panthers. But the problem is that the Tar Heels had to come back from being down 18 points.

How much did that take out of UNC? Pittsburgh dominated Duke. The defense is on the same level as North Carolina’s. The difference here is that the Panthers are at home and have the better quarterback. Pitt wins by more than the spread.

NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Pittsburgh Panthers

Michigan Wolverines vs Penn State Nittany Lions -1

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 13

Michigan is a solid team. But the trends are against the Wolverines. Michigan is 0-6 ATS versus a team with a winning record and the favorite is 6-1 ATS in the last 7 meetings.

The key is the quarterback position and home field. The Nittany Lions are 2-0 ATS in their last couple. Both were on the road. PSU should be better at home. Sean Clifford is a better quarterback than either of Michigan’s starters. Penn State should win this by close to 6 points.

NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Penn State Nittany Lions

Oklahoma Sooners -6 vs Baylor Bears

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 13

Let’s not kid ourselves. Baylor, no doubt, overlooked TCU. But the thing we must worry about with the Bears is how they allowed Horned Frogs signal-caller Chandler Morris to run free.

Caleb Miller can use his legs and his arm to dominate defenses. But the Oklahoma Sooners’ D will have trouble stopping the Bears’ rushing attack as well as Gerry Bohanon, who won’t play two bad games in a row. Taking the points looks like the best play.

NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Baylor Bears

Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Auburn Tigers -5 ½

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 13

The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5. But Auburn returns home after a tough road game against the Texas A&M Aggies. Although the Tigers didn’t cover in the 20-9 loss, they figure to bounce back big time in this. Mississippi State allows 25.3 points on average and gave up 31 in their last. The Tigers easily cover this spread.

NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Auburn Tigers

Utah Utes -24 vs Arizona Wildcats

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 13

Sharps are all over the Utes. Arizona got lucky to grab their first win because 11 players on California’s squad didn’t make the trip due to testing positive for COVID. Zona still struggled to a 10-3 victory. Utah blasted Stanford 52-7 in a huge road win. The Utes are the best team in the Pac-12 right now. They’ve won 4-of-5 with dominating victories over USC, UCLA, Stanford, and ASU. Utah won’t let up just because the Cats are a bad team.

NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Utah Utes

Georgia Bulldogs -20 ½ vs Tennessee Volunteers

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 13

Tennessee is a solid SEC squad. The team competed well in NCAAF Week 10 when beating the Kentucky Wildcats in a pick game. But Georgia is the best teams in the nation. The Vols have only a small shot of keeping this close.

NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Georgia Bulldogs

Purdue Boilermakers vs Ohio State Buckeyes -20

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 13

The Boilermakers could bounce after the solid victory against Michigan State. Ohio State can score for days. But the Ohio State Buckeyes won’t have an answer for Purdue wide receiver David Bell. Also, quarterback Aidan O’Connell is completing close to 72% of his passes. The Buckeyes could find themselves in a tough game, one that might not go there way if O’Connell to Bell is clicking. For sure, consider taking the points.

NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Purdue Boilermakers

Texas A&M Aggies -2 ½ vs Ole Miss Rebels

  • When: Saturday, Nov. 13

The odds make no sense. Ole Miss should be the chalk in this. A&M played well in the win over Auburn, but the Rebels have an awesome offense. Quarterback Matt Coral is close to unstoppable. So, yes, Texas A&M could win, and the Aggies could even cover, but the odds make Ole Miss an overlay.

NCAAF Week 11 Pick: Ole Miss Rebels
