2021 NCAAF Season Week 4 SU Betting Picks to Wager On

As we head into Week 4 of the college football season, we are beginning to get a clear idea of which teams are the most likely to be in the playoffs once the regular season comes to an end. The Georgia Bulldogs look to be the team to beat right now, which is all the more frightening when you realize that they still have some major offensive players set to return from injury later in the year. There are also a couple of dark horses emerging, but time will tell if they are serious contenders or just going through a good patch of for, Last weekend, we went 1-2 in our SU picks, taking us to 7-2 for the season. Let’s see if we can have ourselves another winning week in Week 4 so you can get ready to keep betting against the NCAAF odds.

College Football SU Picks for Week 4

Mississippi State Bulldogs over LSU Tigers

In Week 3, it was the Bulldogs who proved to be one of the teams letting us down in our SU picks. They had to come back from a big hole against Memphis and eventually came up short after a pair of botched calls by the refs stalled the comeback. They will be back home this weekend with a massive chip on their shoulder as they get set to host SEC rival, the LSU Tigers. The Tigers have bounced back with wins over lesser opposition after an opening week loss to UCLA. They have won 17 of the last 20 meetings with Mississippi State, as well as 9 of the last 10 of those games played on the road. Despite that rather staggering trend, I am going all in with the Bulldogs.

Western Michigan Broncos over San Jose State Spartans

Let’s turn our attention away from the Power 5 for a moment for our next SU pick for Week 4. These two teams head into the weekend with matching 2-1 records, with the bookies seeing this as a close one. The Broncos are in as a slight favorite at home, and there are a few reasons why I think they are a good pick this weekend. One of the bigger ones is the fact that San Jose State has not been good in September, going 2-12 SU in their last 14 games played in that month. Combine that with Western Michigan going 9-1 SU in their last 10 home games and you have what appears to be a very solid pick.

Memphis Tigers over UTSA Roadrunners

There is always the chance that a team can suffer a bit of a letdown after recording a very big win. If that is indeed the case, then this pick might be classified as a bit of a risky one. Yes, you can argue that the Tigers only got the surprise win over the Mississippi State Bulldogs in Week 3 after the officials got it all horribly long late in the game, but it still goes down as a huge win. The Tigers are in as a mild favorite this weekend against the UTSA Roadrunners, which is actually an important part of our pick here. The Roadrunners have gone just 3-8 SU in the last 11 games they started as an underdog. With their win last weekend, Memphis is now 7-0 SU in their last 7 games played in the month of September.
