NFL Betting – Los Angeles Chargers Calendar Odds & Analysis For the 2021-22 Season
Los Angeles Chargers: 2020 Season Recap
While the Chargers finished 7-9 in 2020 and third in the AFC West, the season was deemed a success thanks to rookie quarterback Justin Herbert.
Los Angeles Chargers: Odds for 2021
MyBookie has you covered for all things NFL betting. On site you can find every available bet for the Chargers, from Week 1 odds to Super Bowl LVI odds and everything in between.
The Chargers have the 14th-best odds to win the Super Bowl, at +3000. LA has the ninth-highest odds to win the AFC, at +1500.
Los Angeles Chargers: 2021 Schedule
Off the bat, the Chargers will play each of their AFC West foes twice, meaning two games against Kansas City, Denver, and Las Vegas.
Both Chiefs games should be tough, and if the Broncos do indeed land Aaron Rodgers like rumored, they will be tough as well. The Raiders are the path of least resistance in this division.
Things start to look up when you see the conferences the AFC West will play this season, with the first being the NFC East.
No division was worse than the NFC East last season, with the 7-9 Washington Football Team representing the team in the playoffs.
The AFC North is the other division drawn for the Chargers, a tougher test. The remaining three teams are the Texans, Patriots, and Vikings, all of whom finished in identical third place to LA in 2020.
The teams on Los Angeles’s schedule:
- Kansas City Chiefs (x2)
- Denver Broncos (x2)
- Las Vegas Raiders (x2)
- New York Giants
- Dallas Cowboys
- Washington Football Team
- Philadelphia Eagles
- Baltimore Ravens
- Pittsburgh Steelers
- Cleveland Browns
- Cincinnati Bengals
- Houston Texans
- New England Patriots
- Minnesota Vikings
2021 Season Prediction
Justin Herbert should take a second-year leap under this new coaching staff and build on the impressive showing he made in his first season.
Herbert leads a balanced offense that includes Austin Ekeler and Keenan Allen. This team feels like they may be a year away from improving on their 7-9 record; the defense needs some more work.
Most win total over/under put the Chargers at nine total wins. From the above, you can count wins for the four NFC East teams, the Bengals, Texans, and at least one each from the Broncos and Raiders.
That would put LA at around eight wins – not quite at nine wins. There’s better value to be had on betting on Super Bowl champions – bet the under wins for LA.
NFL Los Angeles Chargers Calendar Analysis In 2020
Philip Rivers and the Chargers may be in a new city after bolting San Diego for the apparently greener pastures of Los Angeles, but the Bolts still face an uphill battle in trying to leap-frog their trio of AFC West division rivals this coming season.
No matter how Rivers and the new-look Chargers fare this coming season, there are several must-bet matchups on the Bolts’ 2017 schedule that no NFL betting fan should miss out on
