Annual championship contending Clemson might not have won the national championship this past season, but could the Tigers ‘win’ the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft by seeing more of their players go in the first round than either Ohio State or Oklahoma? When it comes to Auburn and Georgia, both SEC rivals are perennial title contenders, but which program will see more of its players picked in Round 1? With this year’s draft quickly approaching, let’s find out the answers to all three NFL draft odds wagers.
2020 NFL Draft Odds | More 1st Round Picks for Clemson, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Auburn & GeorgiaMore First Round Picks Clemson vs Ohio State
- Clemson Players +½ -160
- Ohio State Players -½ +120
I’ve got two players from Clemson’s perennially-powerful program in superstar linebacker Isaiah Simmons and speedy wide receiver Tee Higgins. Cornerback A.J. Terrell and guard John Simpson are both expected to be second round picks, so two is the number here. When it comes to Ohio State, I also have two Buckeyes, not only go off the board in the first round, but likely inside the top five picks in defensive end Chase Young and cornerback Jeffrey Okudah. Buckeyes cornerback Damon Arnette could be one of the final picks in the first round, but that’s more of a longshot than a sure-fire selection. Still, Ohio State is the easy pick to win this draft odds wager.

- Clemson Players +½ -180
- Oklahoma Players -½ +140
Again, for Clemson, I have two Tigers players going in the first round in the aforementioned Simmons and Higgins. For Oklahoma, I’ve got wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and linebacker Kenneth Murray going off the board in the opening round to make it a pair of players from both schools to go in Round 1. Back Clemson +½ to win this wager.
2020 NFL Draft Pick: ClemsonMore First Round Picks Auburn vs Georgia
- Auburn Players +½ -280
- Georgia Players -½ +240
Auburn and Georgia both fell short of their championship hopes last season as SEC rival LSU won it all, but the pick for this draft odds wager is super easy for you as one team is miles ahead of the other when it comes to potential first round picks in this year’s NFL draft.
Defensive lineman Derrick Brown looks like he could become a perennial Pro Bowler at some point in his NFL career, but the sideline-to-sideline star will be the only player from Auburn to be selected in the opening round. Former teammate and guard Prince Tega Waogho is expected the be a mid-to-late second round pick while defensive lineman Marlon Davidson is expected to go late in the second or early in the third round.
For Georgia, the Bulldogs have two sure-fire first round picks in gifted tackle Andrew Thomas and fleet-footed running back D’Andre Swift. While some draft analysts believe guard Solomon Kindley could go at the very end of the first round, at the very least, the Dawgs have two first round picks, giving them one more than Auburn. Back the Dawgs at -½
