Ravens vs Bengals Odds and Betting Prediction for Week 2

The Baltimore Ravens and Cincinnati Bengals will meet up for the first of two games this season between the two teams predicted at the top of the AFC North.

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a win over Houston in Week One. In the win, the Ravens did not allow Houston to score a touchdown. For the Cincinnati Bengals, they did not score a touchdown in their 24-3 loss to divisional rival Cleveland. The Bengals looked awful from start to finish, and will now look to avoid an 0-2 start.

The Baltimore Ravens, despite being 1-0 on the season, are road underdogs here. The Cincinnati Bengals come into the game listed at -3.5 over the Ravens. The total for this game is at 46.5 points.

Bengals Looking to get Burrow on Track

The biggest concern outside of the 0-1 start for the Cincinnati Bengals is the play of Joe Burrow. While it was just one game, Burrow throwing for just 82 yards was not the way the season was supposed to start. He and Ja’Marr Chase accounted for just 39 yards on five receptions in the game. The Bengals managed just a field goal in the loss.

Joe Mixon remained the top running back candidate for the Bengals, but he was ineffective as well. Mixon rushed 13 times for 56 yards and did not score. Cincinnati’s 3 points were the second worst in Week One of the season, while their total of 67 passing yards also ranked them 31st to open the season.

Cincinnati is starting back-to-back home games. Following this game, the Bengals will be home for Monday Night Football as they take on the Rams. After that, the Bengals go on the road for games at the Titans and the Cardinals.

Baltimore Seeking Early Advantage

The Baltimore Ravens would love nothing more than to take a two-game lead on Cincinnati after two weeks of games. The Ravens were solid but not great in the opener.

Lamar Jackson was 17 of 22 with 169 yards and an interception in the game. Jackson did not throw for a touchdown, as all three were on the ground. J.K. Dobbins got the first one, and then Justice Hill picked up the next two.

Zay Flowers, the rookie out of Boston College, led the receiving attack. He caught nine passes for 78 yards in the game. The defense was the best news for the Ravens. Their nine points allowed was the fourth best in Week One of the season.

The bad news came when J.K. Dobbins left the game and is now declared out for the season with an Achilles injury. Hill and Gus Edwards will get most of the slack.

Baltimore will host the Indianapolis Colts in Week Three before back-to-back road games against the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. In Week Six, the Ravens and Titans play in London.

Ravens vs Bengals Betting Prediction | Bengals Fail to Get Back on Track

Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals know they have to get back on track and do it quickly. The Bengals cannot afford to fall too far behind in the divisional standings.

The Ravens know this as well and are going to make sure they are doing everything possible to grab this second win. The Ravens on the road could be an interesting test, but being more than a field-goal underdog makes them the bet to make here. Burrow is still not healthy, and the Ravens are going to make him pay.

Take the Baltimore Ravens +3.5 over the Cincinnati Bengals when you make your Week Two bets.
