Super Bowl 52 Betting Picks: CBS Experts

Super Bowl 52 Betting Picks: CBS Experts

Written by on January 31, 2018

With the clock ticking ever closer to Super Bowl LII this coming Sunday, everyone who cares about the game has already made it clear who they think will win. My Super Bowl 52 betting pick is New England Patriots (24-21), as I don’t think it will be the blowout that a lot of people are calling for. When I make my predictions for the games I cover here, I try to steer clear of the expert’s picks, simply because I don’t want my judgment clouded by their opinions, which may well be more valid than my own.All of that said, we thought it would be fun to take a look at what the experts are saying about the big game. This piece will cover the experts at CBS Sports, and we will also do another piece focusing on the NFL Network experts. Let’s get to it…

The Best and Worst Super Bowl 52 Props to Bet On

Pete Prisco

One of the top writers at CBS Sports, Prisco is usually very good when it comes to making picks. He has this one as being close, too, and also has the same final score as I predicted earlier this week. He goes a little more in-depth with his prediction and has the Patriots pulling off another 4th quarter comeback like they did in the AFC Championship Game. Prisco went 165-90 in the regular season.

Jason La Canfora

With a record of 152-104 SU in the regular season, LaCanfora actually had the worst record of the NFL experts on CBS Sports. He is another expert who is on board with the Patriots getting their 6th Super Bowl Title. He is going with Philly to cover.

Will Brinson

Brinson finished just ahead of LaCanfora this regular season with an SU record of 154-102. He also has a winning record in the playoffs, one of only two CBS Sports experts with that distinction. Does that mean that his pick of the Philadelphia Eagles to win should be paid attention to?

Jared Dubin

It was a solid regular season for Dubin, who went 170-86 SU. He has struggled in the playoffs, though, going 3-7 to this point. Dubin is all in on the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, taking them to win and cover. The Patriots are Jared Dubin's Super Bowl LII Betting Pick.

Ryan Wilson

If you are planning on wagering ATS in the Super Bowl, Wilson might well be the man to listen to, as he is a solid 8-2 ATS in the playoffs. He has not been great SU in the postseason but was 170-86 in the regular season. Wilson is taking the Eagles to win, which would, of course, mean that they cover, too.

John Breech

In terms of SU picks, Breech was 161-95 in the regular season and is currently 4-6 in the playoffs. Breech is also on board with the Patriots, taking them to win and cover.

Dave Richard

He is the second of only two CBS Sports experts to have a winning SU record this postseason. Richard has not done so well ATS, although he had the best regular season record in that department the previous year. He is all in on the Eagles as his Super Bowl 52 betting pick. Jamey Eisenberg – The regular season winner among this group with a brilliant 178-78 SU record. He also had the best record ATS during the regular season, so perhaps this is the guy you should listen to. He has the Super Bowl being close, taking the Patriots to win and the Eagles to cover.
