Sure ATS Betting Lines For NFL Week 6

Denver Broncos (-3) at San Diego Chargers

Week 6 NFL ATS Pick: Broncos (-3) There is a general consensus across the league that the Chargers will be a slightly improved team while the Denver Broncos will take a step back from their 2015 Super Bowl-winning campaign. In many ways, the offseason changes made by the two teams sort-of explain such expectations. But then again, I’d really be wary about trusting San Diego for the win or even the points in this game, given that Denver has pretty much owned them in recent years. Per the record books, Denver is flawlessly 5-0 in its last five trips to San Diego and is impressively 9-1 in its last 10 overall meetings against the Chargers. So, even with the concerns about Denver’s quarterback situation, there still looks to be a lot of value for the Broncos in this game, as per the betting trends. Plus, the QB situation in Denver last year was far from perfect, yet Denver finished the season with the best AFC record in the regular season, before outwitting better-endowed offensive teams to eventually claim the Super Bowl. Doing the same against the offense-reliant Chargers and covering the standard 3-point spread should thus be within very strong realms of possibility for this well-coached and extremely disciplined Denver team.

Cincinnati Bengals at New England Patriots (-4)

Week 6 NFL ATS Pick: Patriots (-4) Try as you may, it’s really hard to argue against a New England team that has been playing the best football in the franchise history over the past decade, with several divisional, conference and national titles to show for their dominance. One of the teams that have been on the end of a tough run of results against the Pats is Cincinnati, who are winless against New England in Foxboro since 1986. The Patriots have are also 8-2 in their last 10 overall games against the Bengals, including wins of 7-or-more points for New England in each of their last three straight meetings at Foxboro. Add to the fact that Cincy has lost a couple of key talents in this offseason; I’d expect nothing other than another win plus the points for the home-favored Patriots.

Carolina Panthers (-4.5) at New Orleans Saints

Week 6 NFL ATS Pick: Saints (+4) After blistering their way to 15-1 season and a solid 11-5 ATS mark, including a two-game sweep over the Saints, it appears as if the Panthers should be the obvious pick in this divisional fixture. That said, the Saints lost by just three points when they played Carolina at home and by just five points in the return fixture at the Bank of America Stadium. That was, of course, when New Orleans had one of the worst defensive units in the NFL. With a better D in 2015 and Drew Brees doing his thing to matchup Cam Newton and gang offensively, the value here should be with the Saints, who’ve actually been one of the better home teams in the NFC South division.
