NHL Parlay Betting Picks from Tuesday to Thursday: COVID Outbreak Could Postpone Some Games

The holiday season has not been great for hockey fans, with the NHL deciding to close its doors for a few days as they try to prevent a COVID outbreak that was having a negative impact on the schedule. The league will be back in business on Tuesday night, although a look ahead at the schedule shows that there are still a few games that are already postponed. The upshot of all this is that NHL players will not be heading to the Olympics in 2022, as the NHL will use that time to make up the games that were lost to postponement over the last couple of weeks. We are now going to put together some parlay picks for the week but be sure to check in on the status of games before you wager against their NHL odds.

Parlay Picks to Wager On | NHL Betting

NHL Parlay – Tuesday – Lightning, Golden Knights, Sharks

We get out Tuesday picks rolling with the Montreal Canadiens hitting the road to face the Tampa Bay Lightning, who are currently on a 3-game win streak that has them sitting atop the Atlantic Division. Tampa have already beaten Montreal this season and should again.

Vegas went into the break having won 8 of their last 10 games, a run that took them to the top of the Pacific Division, albeit after playing 4 more games than the Calgary Flames. I like them to keep rolling with a win over the Kings.

With just 6 wins on the year, this is turning into a nightmare season for the Arizona Coyotes. They will head into San Jose on Tuesday night to face a Sharks team that has lost 2 in a row. I think the Sharks snap out of that slump with a win.

NHL Parlay – Wednesday – Islanders, Jets, Avalanche

You look at the Detroit Red Wings beating the New York Islanders twice already this season and you think they are an automatic pick. The fact is, though, that both wins came on home ice. The Wings are just 4-10-1 on the road, which is why I have the Islanders here.

The Winnipeg Jets are still very much in the Central Division race right now and will be looking to put some more space between themselves and the Chicago Blackhawks with a win on Wednesday night. I like them to do so.

We have another Central Division matchup set to go, with the Dallas Stars, winners of 2 in a row, heading in the road to face the Colorado Avalanche. The Avs are incredibly tough to beat on home ice, going 10-2-1 to this point.

NHL Parlay – Thursday – Hurricanes, Islanders, Kings

We hate to pick on one single team when making these picks, but this looks like a tough week for the Montreal Canadiens. They will be on the road in Carolina on Thursday night to face a Hurricanes team flying high atop the Metropolitan Division.

We are riding with the Islanders for a second straight night, as they will be hosting a Buffalo Sabres team that has gone cold, winning just twice in their last 10 games. The Hurricanes have won 2 in a row and are a solid 9-3-0 on home ice.

There are a few teams who must have been disappointed to see the league go into lockdown, but especially Vancouver, who have win 6 in a row. They will be in LA on Thursday night, and while the Canucks have been good of late, I like the Kings at home.
