Sydney Roosters vs Melbourne Storm

The big action in the NRL kicks off late this week, with the Roosters and Storm both looking to flex their muscles at the top of the standings. The Storm moved up to second in the standings with an excellent win in their most recent outing, and they could end the upcoming round top of the standings with another success on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the Roosters finally got their campaign up and running with an excellent success in their most recent outings. But, they still sit outside of the playoff positions after winning just half of their six matches this term. However, their most recent success would certainly give them huge confidence ahead of this showdown.

A key fact to consider this weekend is the fact that the Roosters have not landed a victory over the Storm in Sydney since 2019. That fact is supported based on the trend that shows that the Storms have won eight of their last nine against their rivals. Therefore, an away victory could be a standout selection.

Brisbane Broncos vs Canberra Raiders

The late game on Saturday in the NRL promises to be an exciting clash, with the Broncos and Raiders both looking to build on decent starts to the season. There will be increased pressure on the home team coming into this round, with the Broncos having won just half of their six matches this term to sit tenth in the current standings.

Meanwhile, the Raiders will be delighted with the start to the season that they have made. They come into this round sitting third in the ladder after winning four of their opening six matches this term. They have already been one of the best attacking teams in the NRL this term, and that offensive output could be key ahead of this showdown.

The fact that this match is at Suncorp Stadium could be challenging to overlook, as the Broncos have won each of their last five matches at the iconic stadium in Brisbane. That could be the trend worth following this weekend.

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks vs North Queensland Cowboys

The final game in this round of matches in the NRL will see the Sharks and Cowboys collide. There is little separating the teams coming into this round, with the home side sitting top of the standings after winning four of their opening five matches this term.

However, the Cowboys are hot on their heels at this stage of the campaign after winning four of their opening six. That start to the season sees them sitting in fourth, but they could potentially end this upcoming round at the top of the ladder if results go their way.

The Sharks have dominated their recent encounters against the Cowboys after landing victories in ten of their last eleven. That appears to be the key trend to follow, and their chances are enhanced after winning four of their last five at PointsBet Stadium.

NRL Round 7 Betting for the Top Weekend Games

Previous Betting News

Another week of National Rugby League is upon us, and things seem tighter than they seem. The recent round of games gave viewers some really close matches that had great endings.

Let’s dive into some of the games for the weeks and picks that have decent value to potentially place a wager on NRL on Round 7 matches.

Betting Preview of the Top NRL Round 7 Weekend Games

National Rugby League Game Info | Updated NRL Odds
When: April 13-16, 2023
Betting Week: Round 7 of the NRL season

Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks vs Sydney Roosters

NRL Odds: Roosters -11.5 -126 / Sharks +272 – Roosters -500 / O/U –
When: Friday, April 14, 2023 at 12:05 am EST
Where: Venue: Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane, Australia

A decent matchup ahead between two mid-table teams should see an exciting duel. The Sharks are currently sitting in 11th place, while the Roosters are in 7th.

The Roosters are coming into this game after a bad loss to Melbourne Storm. They will look to return to their better form in this matchup.

The Sharks are entering this game after a string of wins and losses, their most recent loss was a very close game against the New Zealand Warriors.

It’s essential for the Sharks to pull a win off here as it will boost them ahead of the Roosters in the standings and push them to a safer part of the table.

The lines for this game are pretty even but give a slight advantage to the Sydney Roosters. I believe that this game will be very close as both teams have similar playing styles. This could go either way, but the Roosters look more consistent overall.

Manly Warringah Sea Eagles vs Melbourne Storm

NRL Odds: Storm -4.5 / Sea Eagles +138 – Storm -196 / O/U 43.5
When: Friday, April 14, 2023 at 4:00 am EST
Where: PointsBet Stadium, Sydney, Australia

Another great matchup to look forward to will see two big teams clash. Melbourne have been one of the most dominating teams in the league this season and currently sits in 3rd place.

The Storm’s are on a three-game win streak and look to continue their great form coming into this match.

However, the standings are still very tight, and a win for the Sea Eagles could push them to an even higher rank than the Melbourne Storm.

The issue for the Sea Eagles is their inconsistencies overall. Their last win came against the Eels nearly a month ago. Their drop-in form seems to be concerning coming into this match.

Melbourne Storm is -4.5 in this matchup; they look to continue their hot form against a struggling Sea Eagles team. This matchup should see Melbourne handle this well.

Brisbane Broncos vs Gold Coast Titans

NRL Odds: Broncos -9.5 -129 / Broncos -400 – Titans +246 / O/U 44.5
When: Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 3:35 am EST
Where: McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle, Australia

The Brisbane Broncos are the top team this season in the NRL. They have only lost one game which came last week against the Raiders, but look to be one of the dominating teams overall.

The Broncos have shown their efficiency recently in leading high-scoring games and controlling their opposition’s total score.

The Titans have shown that their inconsistencies are holding them back. The Titans enter this game after a close win against the Dragons.

The Broncos are -9.5 favorites to win this game. Even though this seems like a high line, the Broncos are capable of scoring high and keeping a weak Titans team down.

Previous Betting News

Will anyone beat the Penrith Panthers this season? Do the lowly Brisbane Broncos stand a chance of upsetting the Parramatta Eels in their Round 7 matchup of polar opposites? Could the New Zealand Warriors get the big road win over the Melbourne Storm? With a new week of action ahead, it’s time to find out which teams are offering the best value against their Rugby odds.

Rugby Betting Predictions – NRL Round 7 Action Set to Get Underway

Penrith Panthers (6-0-0) Vs Newcastle Knights (3-0-3)

When: Thursday, April 2, at 4:50 a.m.
Where: BlueBet Stadium, Penrith
NRL Odds: Newcastle +575 / Penrith -1428

Penrith got past Brisbane 20-12 on the road on Thursday in Round 6 to remain unbeaten on the season. Newcastle picked up a much-needed win by getting past the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks 26-22 on Friday to level their record at three up and three down. Penrith is the only unbeaten team in the league and has scored 160 points while routinely shutting down the opposition by conceding a league-low 38 points (+122).  Newcastle is in 10th place in the NRL ladder, but has been limited to 127 points while allowing 142 points defensively (-15). Penrith is 3-0 at home this season while Newcastle has gone 1-1 on the road.

For Penrith, back-rower Kurt Capewell has been named in the centers to replace the suspended Paul Momirovski. Hooker Api Koroisau could suit up if he’s fully healthy. For Newcastle, Hymel Hunt suffered a hamstring injury against the Sharks and is replaced on the wing by Starford To’a. Tex Hoy (hamstring) remains sidelined.

“We certainly hope so, he’s got to get through [training on Wednesday] but we’re hopeful,” said coach Ivan Cleary. “We’re not going to risk him. We’ve got a few options.”

Prediction: The Panthers have conceded only two second-half tries this season and simply make life extremely difficult for their opponents to score at all. While the Knights were one of only three teams that did not lose to the Panthers in 2020, I just don’t see them getting a win or draw on Thursday night. There’s a reason unbeaten Penrith is such a huge favorite. The Panthers win and win big.

Pick: Panthers 26 Knights 12

Parramatta Eels (5-1-0) Vs Brisbane Broncos (1-0-5)

When: Friday, April 23 at 3:00 a.m.
Where: TIO Stadium, Darwin
NRL Odds: Brisbane +361 / Parramatta -625

Parramatta is sitting in third place in the NRL ladder. The Eels have scored 151 points while allowing 90 points defensively (+61).

Parramatta rolled all over Canberra 35-10 in Round 6 on Saturday to move to 5-0-1 on the season. Brisbane is mired in 14th place in the NRL ladder with a modest 80 points scored and 147 points allowed (-67).

The Broncos lost for the fifth time in six weeks by losing to Penrith 20-12 at home on Thursday in Round 6. For Parramatta, Dylan Brown will return from suspension at five-eighth. For Brisbane, center Herbie Farnworth is set to his return from a shoulder injury while new hooker recruit Danny Levi joins the interchange bench.

Prediction: The Eels have won five of their last six games at Darwin’s TIO Stadium while the Broncos have lost a whopping 12 consecutive road games. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see a huge win here for Parramatta.

Pick: Eels 32 Broncos 8

Melbourne Storm (4-0-2) Vs New Zealand Warriors (3-0-3)

When: Sunday, April 25 at 3:15 a.m.
Where: AAMI Park, Melbourne
NRL Odds: New Zealand +486 / Melbourne -1111

Melbourne is in fourth place in the NRL ladder with 160 points scored and 74 points allowed (+86). The Storm overpowered the perennially-powerful Sydney Roosters 20-4 at home in Round 6 on Friday to move two games over .500 on the season. New Zealand is in eighth place in the NRL ladder with 113 points scored, but 116 points allowed (-3). The Warriors evened their record by subduing the St. George Illwarra Dragons 20-14 despite being on the road in Round 6.

For Melbourne, forward Dale Finucane has been named on the bench to play his first match of the year after a calf injury. Star fullback Ryan Papenhuyzen (shoulder) is out of this week with Nicho Hynes promoted from the interchange to suit up in the No.1 jersey. For New Zealand, injuries to Peta Hiku (dislocated shoulder) and Adam Pompey (ankle) have forced a backline reshuffle. Now, teenagers Reece Walsh and Rocco Berry could both make their debuts. David Fusitu’a is set to return from a hamstring injury on the wing and Marcelo Montoya has moved to center.

Prediction: Melbourne has won an impressive 12 straight at home and New Zealand has has not defeated the Storm on Anzac Day since 2014. Melbourne gets it done with a strong second half.

Pick: Storm 22, Warriors 14

Sharks Vs Sea Eagles Telstra Premiership Round 7 – NRL Odds & Picks

Previous Betting News

The Manly Sea Eagles will look to extend their winning ways when they host a visiting Cronulla Sharks squad that will be looking to boost their confidence even further after picking up a hard-fought win in round 6. With the Sea Eagles looking to stay among the league leaders and Cronulla looking to take another step toward reaching .500, let’s find out if Manly or Cronulla-Sutherland is the pick in this intriguing matchup so you can make your bets against their NRL odds.

NRL Sharks Vs Sea Eagles Round 7

Why Bet On The Sea Eagles

Manly is sitting in seventh place in the NRL standings with eight points. The Sea Eagles have scored 95 points while limiting the opposition to 75 points this season (+20). Manly has gone an identical 2-1 at home and on the road. Manly has won two straight and comes into this clash off an encouraging 14-6 upset road win over the previously one-loss Canberra Raiders on Sunday. Tom Trbojevic and Tevita Funa recorded scoring tries in the win while Reuben Garrick went 2-for-2 on conversions while adding a penalty goal for good measure. Manly’s defense shined as they limited Canberra to just one try in the win.

The bad news is that, for this round 7 battle, Tom Trbojevic (hamstring) and Dylan Walker (ankle) are both out of the lineup. Brendan Elliot moves to fullback and Lachlan Croker to five-eighth while Jorge Taufua returns on the wing and Martin Taupau is back from injury in the front row. Cade Cust joins the interchange while Brad Parker will be monitored after last week’s blow to the head. Manly has won 11 of their past 12 games against the Sharks.

Why Bet On The Sharks

Cronulla is sitting in 11th place in the NRL standings with four points. The Sharks have scored 106 points while allowing 126 points defensively (-20). Cronulla-Sutherland has gone an identical 1-2 at home and on the road this season. The Sharks have won two of their last three games including a hard-fought, 20-18 home win over Canterbury on Sunday as Sione Katoa scored a trio of tries and Bryson Goodwin added another. Shaun Johnson went 2-for-4 on conversions while Briton Nikora added a sin bins in the win.  For this round 7 battle, Andrew Fifita is named to start with Braden Hamlin-Uele going back to the interchange. The Sharks’ winning record against the Sea Eagles (26%) is their worst against any opposition.

General Match Info Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks (2-0-4) vs. Manly Sea Eagles (4-0-2)

When: Sunday, June 2, 2020 at 1:05 AM AEST
Where: Central Coast Stadium, Central Coast
Sharks Vs Sea Eagles Live: Nine/Fox Sports
Money Lines: Sea Eagles wins -153 / Sharks wins +129

Expert Analysis and Prediction

While Manly doesn’t have the most explosive offense around as evidenced by the fact that they’ve scored just 95 points this season, they have been rock-solid defensively in limiting the opposition to just 12.5 points per game through six contests. Conversely, Cronulla is giving up 21.0 points per game, not to mention the Sharks have a losing road record coming into this affair. Manly has won four straight in this rivalry, not to mention the fact that the Sea Eagles knocked Cronulla out of last year’s playoffs to end Paul Gallen’s illustrious career on a sour note. Manly gets it done again to pick up their fifth win in seven games!

Pick: Sea Eagles 24 Sharks 16

Telstra Premiership 2020 Round 7 Matches

Rabbitohs Vs Panthers Telstra Premiership Round 7 – NRL Odds & Picks

Previous Betting News

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will be looking to extend their winning ways when they take on the Penrith Panthers in their Round 7 showdown on Thursday night. Though Penrith was supposed to host this game at Campbelltown Stadium, it has been moved to Netstrata Jubilee Oval following concerns about the playing surface at Campbelltown. The NRL informed the Panthers of its decision to relocate the game on Monday afternoon. Now, let’s find out where the best value lies in this intriguing pairing so you can start planning ahead your bets against their NRL odds.

NRL Rabbitohs Vs Panthers Round 7

Why Bet On The Panthers at -133

Penrith is sitting in third place in the NRL standings with nine points and one point behind league-leading Parramatta. The Panthers have scored 123 goals while allowing 86 defensively (+37). Penrith has gone a perfect 3-0 at home this season and 1-1 on the road. Penrith also comes into this contest off a hard-fought 21-14 win over Melbourne last week as Stephen Crichton, Brian To’o and Viliame Kikau all scored on tries and Nathan Cleary went 3-for-3 on conversions and 1 for-1 on penalty goals. Penrith’s starting from a week ago is intact after their strong win over the Storm. Fullback Dylan Edwards got through his first game back from injury although playmaker Matt Burton never saw any action. Jarome Luai is clear to play after accepting a grade-one dangerous contact charge.

Why Bet On The Rabbitohs at +110

The Rabbitohs are sitting in eighth place in the NRL standings with six points. South Sydney has scored 132 points this season while allowing 114 points defensively (+18). South Sydney has gone a perfect 3-0 at home, but a winless 0-3 on the road. One week after taking out the Titans 32-12 in Round 5, the Rabbitohs spanked the New Zealand Warriors 40-12 as Alex Johnston scored a pair of tries and Campbell Graham, Adam Reynolds, Braidon Burns, Cody Walker and Damien Cook all added scoring tries of their own. Reynolds also went 6-for-7 on conversions in the win. Bench forward Tom Amone is out for this affair after suffering a serious knee injury against the Warriors. Center James Roberts replaces him on the bench.

General Match Info South Sydney Rabbitohs (3-0-3) Vs Penrith Panthers (4-1-1)

When: Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 4:30 AM AEST
Where: Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, Sydney
Rabbitohs Vs Panthers Live: Fox Sports
Money Lines: Panthers -133 / Rabbitohs +110

Expert Analysis and Prediction

Penrith might have more wins coming into this matchup and they might be favored as well, but I smell an upset brewing with South Sydney playing some excellent football recently. The Rabbitohs have scored 72 points the last two weeks while limiting their opponents to an identical 12 points defensively.

While Penrith recorded a narrow 19-18 win the last time these two met, these two rivals have alternated wins and losses over the last four meetings while South Sydney has gone 3-2 over the last five. With four of the last five meetings being decided by four points or less, I’m expecting another thriller!

Pick: Rabbitohs 24 Panthers 20

Telstra Premiership 2020 Round 7 Matches

Dragons Vs Roosters Telstra Premiership Round 7 – NRL Odds & Picks

Previous Betting News

The Sydney Roosters will be looking to remain red-hot when they host the St. George Illawarra Dragons in their Round 7 NRL showdown on Friday. With the defending champs huge favorites at home and St. George looking to extend their surprising winning streak, let’s find out if the favored Roosters are the pick to get it done in this one so you can place your bets against their NRL odds.

NRL Dragons Vs Roosters Round 7

Why Bet On The Roosters at -909

The Roosters are sitting in fourth place in the NRL standings with eight points. The two-time defending champs have scored a league-high 175 points while allowing just 57 points defensively to own the league’s best point differential total (+118). Sydney has gone an identical 2-1 at home and on the road this season. Sydney has won four straight since the re-start and comes into this matchup off a convincing 24-10 win over previously unbeaten Parramatta that I correctly predicted in the MyBookie news section days earlier. Brett Morris, Boyd Cordner and Daniel Tupou all scored tries in the win while Kyle Flanagan went 2-for-3 on conversions and a perfect 4-for-4 on penalty goals. For this matchup, James Tedesco is scheduled to play despite taking a solid blow to the head last week. Sam Verrills and Lindsay Collins are set to replace Sitili Tupouniua and Mitchell Aubusson on the bench.

Why Bet On The Dragons at +550

The Dragons are sitting in 12th place in the NRL standings with four points. St. George has scored 94 points this season while allowing 120 points defensively (-26). The Dragons have gone an identical 1-2 at home and on the road. St. George comes into this matchup riding the wave of a modest two-game winning streak that includes a 30-16 home win over the Sharks in round 5 and a 20-8 road win over the Gold Coast Titans on Saturday. Zac Lomax, Mikaele Ravalawa and Jordan Pereira all scored on tries while Lomax went 3-for-3 on conversions and 1-of-2 on penalty goals in the win. For this matchup, Jason Saab replaces the suspended Jordan Pereira on the wing while Blake Lawrie starts at prop and Josh Kerr goes back to the bench. Jackson Ford replaces the Super League-bound James Graham on the interchange.

General Match Info St. George Illawarra Dragons (2-0-4) Vs. Sydney Roosters (4-0-2)

When: Friday, June 26, 2020 at 4:55 AM AEST
Where: Bankwest Stadium, Sydney
Dragons Vs Roosters Live: Fox Sports
Money Lines: Roosters -909 / Dragons +550

Expert Analysis and Prediction

While St. George has played well their last two games, upsetting a red-hot Sydney squad looks to be too tall of a task to me. The Roosters are on fire right now as they come into this matchup having out-scored their last four opponents by the combined score of 153-28. The defending champs have been the best team in the league since the restart, they’re playing at home and taking on an overmatched opponent that has a losing record this season. Sydney wins and they win convincingly.

Pick: Roosters 36 Dragons 12

Telstra Premiership 2020 Round 7 Matches

Warriors Vs Storm Telstra Premiership Round 7 – NRL Odds & Picks

Previous Betting News

The Melbourne Storm and New Zealand Warriors will both be looking to get back in the win column when they square off in their Round 7 showdown on Friday night, but the outcome of this one might already be in the books. If you’re ready for some round 7 NRL action, then let’s find out which team is offering the best betting value in this Warriors Vs Storm, along with their NRL odds.

NRL Warriors Vs Storm Round 7

Why Bet On The Storm at -588

Melbourne is sitting in sixth place in the NRL standings with eight points. The Storm have scored 98 points this season while allowing 77 points defensively (+21). Melbourne has gone 1-1 at home and 3-1 on the road this season. The Storm had their two-game winning streak snapped in their 21-14 upset loss against Penrith on Friday. Felise Kaufusi and Brenko Lee scored on tries and Cameron Smith went 2-for-2 on conversions, but it wasn’t enough as Melbourne gave up three tries, three conversions, a penalty goal and a field goal in the loss. Melbourne will be lifted by the return of Joshua Addo-Carr and Jahrome Hughes to the starting side, with Marion Seve and Ryley Jacks moving to the bench.

Why Bet On The Warriors at +400

New Zealand is sitting in 13th place in the NRL standings with four points. The Warriors have scored just 73 points this season while allowing a generous 132 points defensively (-59). New Zealand has gone 2-1 at home, but a discouraging 0-3 on the road. The Warriors were on the wrong end of a humbling 40-12 smackdown loss against South Sydney on Friday. David Fusitu’a and Agnatius Paasi scored tries and Kodi Nikorima went 1-for-2 on conversions.

New Zealand made the stunning decision to part ways with head coach Stephen Kearney despite splitting four games since the NRL’s post coronavirus restart. Assistant Todd Payten will take over as interim coach.

“Stephen was informed this morning that we needed to make an immediate change,” Warriors CEO Cameron George said in a statement.

The bad news is that the move wasn’t received very well by the Warriors players who adored the widely-respected Kearney. Payten has warned that his players may want to return home after the stunning dismissal of Kearney.

“Some may [want to return home],” Payten said on Sunday. “Yesterday it was an emotionally-charged day. Stephen’s very well respected and loved by the players. I don’t know how they feel from an anger situation. It hit them pretty hard in the face.

For this round 7 showdown, Karl Lawton covers the suspended Wayde Egan at hooker while Jack Murchie starts for the injured Eliesa Katoa (ankle) in the second row. Ken Maumalo returns on the wing with Gerard Beale out of the 17. Chanel Harris-Tavita and Isaiah Papali’i return on the bench. David Fusitu’a and Lachlan Burr are both named despite failing HIAs last week.

General Match Info New Zealand Warriors (2-0-4) Vs. Melbourne Storm (4-0-2)

When: Friday, June 26, 2020 at 3:00 AM AEST
Where: Netstrata Jubilee Stadium, Sydney
Warriors Vs Storm Live: Fox Sports
Money Lines: Storm -588 / Warriors +400

Expert Analysis and Prediction

I don’t see a whole lot of sense in beating around the bush with my prediction on this round 7 matchup since I just don’t see New Zealand showing up with the best effort after getting completely stunned by the removal of their beloved head coach. Melbourne has won five straight in this rivalry including a 32-10 road win on June 8, 2019 the last time they met. The Storm are the statistically better team on both sides of the ball and they’ll be motivated to get the win and they are one of six teams with four victories, one win behind league-leading Parramatta. Melbourne wins and they win big!

Pick: Storm 32 Warriors 10

Telstra Premiership 2020 Round 7 Matches

Wests Tigers Vs Bulldogs Telstra Premiership Round 7 – NRL Odds & Picks

Previous Betting News

The Canterbury Bulldogs will be looking to pick up their second win of the 220 campaign when they host the visiting Wests Tigers in their Round 7 matchup on Sunday. With the Bulldogs desperate for a win and the Tigers looking to build on their round 6 performance, let’s find out which team is offering the best betting value against their NRL odds in this affair.

NRL Wests Tigers Vs Bulldogs Round 7

Why Bet On The Bulldogs

Canterbury is sitting in 15th place in the 16-team NRL standings with a paltry two points. The Bulldogs have scored a modest 70 points while allowing 128 points defensively (-58). Canterbury has gone 1-2 at home, but a winless 0-3 on the road this season. The Bulldogs have dropped two straight, but they put up a great effort in their narrow 20-18 round 6 road loss against Cronulla on Sunday. Will Hopoate, Kieran Foran and Christian Crichton all scored on tries while Jake Averillo went 3-for-3 on conversions and Brandon Wakeham added a sin bins in the loss. For this Round 7 matchup, Kerrod Holland replaces the suspended Christian Crichton on the backline while Jack Cogger joins the interchange. Nick Meaney has recovered from his hip flexor strain and could be a late addition along with Aiden Tolman. Canterbury has won three straight against the Wests Tigers.

Why Bet On The Tigers

The Tigers are sitting in ninth place in the NRL standings with six points while scoring 141 points and allowing 134 points defensively (-7). The Tigers have gone 1-2 at home and 2-1 on the road this season. The Tigers snapped a two-game skid by subduing the Cowboys 36-20 on Saturday. The Tigers jumped all over North Queensland en route to a 34-0 halftime lead. They took their foot off the gas pedal after that but still managed to escape with the win as Zane Musgrove, Joseph Leilua, Luke Brooks, Josh Aloiai, Robert Jennings and Moses Mbye all scored tries and Mbye went 5-for-6 on conversions and 1-for-1 on penalty goals. For this round 7 pairing, Tommy Talau replaces Robert Jennings (hamstring) on the wing. Oliver Clark replaces Zane Musgrove (foot) at prop and Matt Eisenhuth starts at lock for Alex Twal (knee). Elijah Taylor will come off the bench.

General Match Info Wests Tigers (3-0-3) vs. Canterbury Bulldogs (1-0-5)

When: Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 3:30 AM AEST
Where: Bankwest Stadium, Sydney
Wests Tigers Vs Bulldogs Live: Nine/Fox Sports
Money Lines: Bulldogs +190 / Tigers -238

Expert Analysis and Prediction

While the Wests Tigers have allowed 134 points to Canterbury’s 128 points allowed, the Tigers have also scored just over twice as many points (141) as Canterbury (70) this season and that cold, hard fact will be the reason why the Tigers get the big road win in round 7.

Yes, Canterbury has won three straight in this longstanding rivalry including a hard-fought 18-16 home win on August 10, 2019, but right now, the Wests Tigers are simply the better team in this one with the far more explosive offense. Canterbury won’t just roll over in this matchup, but they are going down in a hard-fought street fight kind of matchup.

Pick: Tigers 28 Bulldogs 20
