  • Colombia vs. Japan
  • Poland vs. Senegal

June 24

  • Japan vs. Senegal
  • Poland vs. Colombia

June 28

  • Japan vs. Poland
  • Senegal vs. Colombia

Poland +140

Poland made qualifying for Russia look pretty easy, although it should be noted that their group was not particularly tough. Still, they went through in style, winning 8 of their 10 games and scoring 28 goals in the process. That more than half of that tally came courtesy of Robert Lewandowski tells you that he will be the man who Poland fans will be pinning their hopes on. While Lewandowski is the man who makes all the headlines in this squad, this is a very talented group that has the ability to make a deep run in this tournament. Poland is something of a sleeping giant that could well come awake in Russia.

Senegal +380

Senegal is a team blessed with attacking options, which makes it all the more surprising that their coach more often than not adopts a rather pedantic style of play. This is a group that is particularly solid in the middle of the park, and with Sadio Mane leading the attack, they should score more often than they do. Senegal managed just 10 goals in their 6-game qualifying group, proving that they are more about keeping things tight at the back than playing to what would appear to be their obvious strengths. They are going to be a tough lot to break down, though, and will not be an easy out.

Colombia – EVEN

Colombia was one of the most enjoyable teams to watch at the last World Cup in 2014, which was the stage where James Rodriguez became a household name. He will be joined in attack by Radamel Falcao, who missed out on the last World Cup because of injury. The 2018 World Cup Odds to win Group H are by Colombia's side. This gives the Colombians a fearsome attacking duo, and there are many football fans out there who believe that this group is good enough to get to the Round of 16 and beyond. The question with this group is whether they can beat the bigger teams, which they failed to do in the qualifying group.

Japan +600

There are many who believe that the Japanese will be paying a very short visit to Russia, as this is a team that is arriving in a bit of turmoil. Japan qualified top of their group, but they were uneven and inconsistent during their run. Things went from bad to worse after qualification, as they failed to impress in friendly matches, which ultimately resulted in their coach being fired. They have a new man in place, and while things have improved somewhat, there are reports that it is the veteran players in this squad who are calling the shots. I’m not expecting much from this team, just as the 2018 World Cup Odds dictate.
