Top Tennis Betting Picks for the Week – February 11th Edition
ATP – Men’s Tennis Matchups – ABM Amro World Tennis Tournament – Round of 32
- When: Tuesday, Feb. 12. 5:00 am ET
Kei Nishikori vs Pierre-Hughes Herbert
- Tennis Odds: Nishikori -275 / Herbert +225
Nishikori hasn’t played since retiring in the second set in his 1-6, 1-4 loss to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open. The loss happened in the quarterfinals, meaning that Kei battled his way to get to Djokovic. He’s not known as a quitter. Something most definitely was wrong that day.
Because he’s back on the court, we must assume Nishikori’s one-hundred percent. Pierre-Hughes Herbert won’t be an easy out, though. Herbert almost won the Open Sud de France in his last tournament, losing 4-6, 2-6 to Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the finals.
Herbert’s worth a look at the overlay odds.
Tennis Betting Pick: Pierre-Hughes Herbert
Milos Raonic vs Philipp Kohlschreiber
- Tennis Odds: Raonic -370 / Kohlschreiber +295
Raonic remains one of the top men’s tennis players in the world even though he lost in the Australian Open quarterfinals to Lucas Pouille. Truth be told, Pouille just outlasted Raonic. The two warriors played a couple of tiebreaker sets among the 4 set match.
Kohlschreiber didn’t get out of Round 1 in the Open Sud de France in his last tournament played. He lost 4-6, 3-6 to Radu Albot. Kohlschrieber will play hard, but Raonic should outclass him. This is one of those easy money tennis matchups.
Tennis Betting Pick: Milos Raonic
WTA – Women’s Tennis Matchups – Qatar Total Open 2019 – Round of 32
- When: Tuesday, Feb. 12, 9:00 am ET
Mihaela Buzarnescu vs Jelena Ostapenko
- Tennis Odds: Buzarnescu +105 / Ostapenko -125
Ostapenko is 1-4 so far in 5 singles matches this year. She heads to the Qatar Total Open 2019 having lost 4-6, 4-6, to Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova in her last tournament played, the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy.
Buzarnescu is 0-3 in her singles matches so far this year. She did win a singles title last year, though. Buzarnescu could do just enough to upset Jelena as the slight underdog in this. Mihaela gets the nod.
Tennis Betting Pick: Miaheal Buzarnescu
Aliaksandra Sasnovich vs Su-Wei Hsieh
- Tennis Odds: Sasnovich -135 / Hsieh +115
Aliaksandra Sasnovich, a 24-year-old Belarussian, has been exceptional in her 12 singles matches this season, going 9-3. She’s already pocketed close to $200K.
Her opponent on Tuesday, Su-Wei Hsieh, has gone 6-4 in 10 singles matches this year. She wasn’t sharp in her last, falling to Monica Niculescu 4-6, 6-7 (2-7) in Round 1 at the Thailand Open. She’ll find it difficult to hang with Sasnovich in this and most likely will lose in straight sets.
Tennis Betting Pick: Aliaksandra Sasnovich
