2021 Monte-Carlo Masters Expert Analysis – ATP Betting

Written by on April 13, 2021

With the ATP Rolex Masters heading into Tuesday, it’s time to find out who’s in action and which ATP World Tour players are offering the best value in their respective matches. No. 11 seed Karen Kachanov will look to avoid the upset against the dangerous Laslo Djere.

Caligari title winner Lorenzo Sonego is an underdog to record his first win over Marton Fucsovics while No. 9 seeded Pablo Carreno Busta looks to advance after winning it all in Marbella a week ago.

With all that in mind, let’s take a closer look at some of the upcoming matches so you can place your bets against their Tennis odds.

ATP Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters Preview – Tennis Betting Analysis

Tuesday, April 13 Matches

Karen Kachanov Vs Laslo Djere

World No. 23 Karen Kachanov is 10-6 on the year while world No. 49 Laslo Djere is 9-8 on the year. These two have never met before but Kachanov is the bigger, younger and far more accomplished player in this matchup. Kachanov is 149-118 in his career with four titles while Djere is a far more modest 61-64 with half as many career titles. Simply put, my money is on the 11th-seeded Karen Kachanov.

Pick: karen Kachanov in 3 Sets

Lorenzo Sonego Vs Marton Fucsovics

World No. 28 Lorenzo Sonego is 10-7 on the year with one title while world No. 40 Marton Fucsovics is 13-5 on the year. More importantly, Fucsovics has won both career head-to-head meetings against the higher ranked Sonego including a 6-4, 6-4 win in Vienna in 2019. Pior to that, Fucsovics beat Sonego 7-5, 4-6, 7-6 (8) on clay in Munich, also in 2019. Lorenzo Sonego might have the higher ranking in this clash, but I like Marton Fucsovics for the win in an absolute thriller. Sonego won the title in Caligari last week by beating Laslo Djere in the finals. Still, I’m going with Fucsovics for the win as the slight favorite.

Pick: Marton Fucsovics in 3 Sets

Stefano Travaglia Vs Pablo Carreno Busta

World No. 67 Stefano Travaglia is 7-7 on the year and 23-35 at the ATP level in his career since turning pro in 2008. World No. 12 Pablo Carreno Busta is 8-3 on the year with one title. Carreno Busta is 200-169 in his career with five titles. While these two have never met, Pable Carreno Busta is by far, the better and more accomplished of the two 29-year-olds. Not only will the ninth-seeded Carreno Busta cruise to the win in this match, but I expect the Spanaird to make a run for the Monte Carlo Rolex Masters win after claiming the title in Marbella a week ago.
