Okay, with that said and race day quickly approaching, let’s get started.

Jimmie Johnson (5-1)

Johnson loves racing at Charlotte and has won this event before, making him one of the favorites in oddsmakers’ eyes. If his car holds up, he’ll have a chance at the end. “I think the All-Star race outcome is really going to depend on tire falloff,” Johnson said. “The rules are pretty interesting and for the teams that are required to pit based on where they finish, hopefully there’s a ton of tire falloff and you can make up those positions lost in a very short final segment.“It’s an exciting race in general – usually a spark or two fly – it’s in my sponsor Lowes’ back yard, and there is a million dollars on the line. How can it not be exciting?”

Kyle Busch (8-1)

Busch has never won a Sprint All-Star race, but he’s as good as any driver in the world toady and has an experienced pit crew.

Matt Kenseth (8-1)

Kenseth has won the All-Star race before and is coming off a big win last week at Dover.

Kevin Harvick (10-1)

Kevin Harvick has also pocketed one All-Star win and has basically been rock-solid in every single race this season. At a value-packed 10-1 I love the value Kenseth is offering.

Joey Logano (10-1)

Logano has also never won an All-Star Race, but like Harvick, he’s had a very good 2016 campaign so far.

My Expert Prediction and Pick

I’m going with loud-mouthed Brad Keselowski to win this year’s All-Star race, mostly because he’s fought so hard for the changes you’ll see this year and the fact that I often believe he’d run his own mother off the road in order to pass her. I like Kevin Harvick to finish second and Kyle Busch to finish third. The Pick: Brad Keselowski
