Bellator 260 Lima Vs Amasov

  • When: Friday, June 11
  • Where: Mohegan Sun Arena, Uncasville, CT
  • TV / Streaming: Showtime

Friday, June 11th Bouts

  • Gustavo Trujillo +210 / Alex Polizzi -260

Favorite Polizzi brings a 7-1 record into this bout. Polizzi has won 3 via submission and 3 via KO or TKO. Even though Trujillo has a 2-inch height advantage, the chalk looks tough to beat.

Bellator Pick: Alex Polizzi

  • Amanda Bell -115 / Marina Mokhnatkina -105

It’s the U.S. versus Russia when Amanda Bell takes on Marina Mokhnatkina. The underdog has the better 4-2 record. Bell is more experienced at 7-7. There’s not enough of a difference in talent to go with the chalk. Mokhnatkina is the stronger play.

Bellator Pick: Marina Mokhnatkina

  • Bobby King +130 / Nick Newell -150

At 16-3, Nick Newell has much more experience than Bobby King. But the chalk heads into this after a decision loss against Manny Muro. The 9-3 underdog could be catching Newell at the right moment. Give King a shot.

Bellator Pick: Bobby King

  • Tywan Claxton -105 / Justin Gonzales -115

6-2 Tywan Claxton takes on 11-0 undefeated Justin Gonzales in what’s sure to be one of the most competitive bouts at Bellator 20. Gonzales gets the benefit of the doubt because he shows an undefeated record. Also, Claxton has lost 2-of-3. The slight chalk is the play.

Bellator Pick: Justin Gonzales

  • Kyle Crutchmer -110 / Levan Chockheli -110

Chockheli has a nice 9-0 record. Crutchmer shows a single loss in 7 fights. In October, Kemran Lachinov beat Crutchmer via decision. The Tulsa, Oklahoma, born Crutchmer could bounce back. The likelier thing to happen is that Georgia fighter, the country not the the state, Chockheli adds a second straight loss to Crutchmer’s record.

Bellator Pick: Levan Chockheli

  • Demarques Jackson -105 / Mark Lemminger-115

In one of the more intriguing main card bouts, 9-3 Demarques Jackson takes on 11-3 Mark Lemminger. Jackson heads into this after a decision loss to Grachik Bozinyan. Not only that, but Lemminger has a 3-inch height advantage. The chalk is the better play.

Bellator Pick: Mark Lemminger

  • Ilarra Joanne +335 / Vanessa Porto -460

The vastly more experienced Vanessa Porto offers underlay odds to beat Ilarra Joanne. Porto’s 22-9 record is most definitely more impressive than Joanne’s 9-5 record. But Liz Carmouche beat the chalk in April. Joanne hasn’t fought since 2019. It won’t give her an advantage, but it may not hurt her all that much either.

Bellator Pick: Ilarra Joanne

  • Aiden Lee +375 / Aaron Pico -500

Favorite Aaron Pico brings a 9-3 record into this. Aiden Lee’s record isn’t far off at 9-4. Lee has won 2 straight. Pico has won 3 straight. Pico should win, no doubt, but Lee has a 4-inch height advantage. Given the odds, 4-inches is enough for us to back Lee.

Bellator Pick: Aiden Lee

  • Paul Daley +190 / Jason Jackson -235

At 43-17-2, Daley has mass mixed-martial-arts fighting experience. Although the record shows plenty of losses, Daley hasn’t dropped a match since 2019. He’s won 3 straight. The 14-4 Jackson is on a 5-match winning streak. Jackson beat Neiman Gracie via decision in his last bout. The underdog offers decent enough odds for a look, but Jackson shouldn’t lose this.

Bellator Pick: Jason Jackson

  • Yaroslav Amisov +105 / Douglas Lima -125

The U.S. born champion won the welterweight title for the third-time in 2019. In 2020, Lima went up in weight to battle middleweight champion Gegard Mousasi. The champ beat Lima via unaninimous decision. It was a great bout. Amisov, though, is 25-0. The underdog has won 9 TKO / KO victories, 11 submission wins, and 6 decision victories. Amisov can fight any style effectively. Give the underdog a long look.

Bellator Pick: Yaroslav Amisov
