2019 College Football Week 12 Must-Bet Games

Written by on August 2, 2019

Can AAC resident Cincinnati duplicate its outstanding 2018 campaign while defeating conference rival South Florida for the second straight season? Could the Washington State Cougars make it four in a row over the Stanford Cardinal when they meet in their Week 12 Pac-12 pairing?

With Georgia looking like a solid road pick in Week 12 and Michigan looking equally as enticing in their Week 12 showdown against Michigan State, let’s take a look at the top matchups on the College Football Week 12 betting schedule.

2019 College Football Week 12 Must-Bet Games

Cincinnati at South Florida

  • When: Saturday, November 16, 2019
  • Where: Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, FL

Cincinnati went a fantastic 11-2 and 6-2 in AAC conference play a year ago and the Bearcats managed to snap a three-game losing streak against conference rival South Florida (7-6) in the process, by smacking the Bulls around in their 35-23 Week 11 win, despite narrowly failing to cover the chalk as a 15-point home favorite. Still, Cincy looks like a great pick to get the upset against a South Florida team that will have a new starting quarterback under center in 2019.

Stanford at Washington State

  • When: Saturday, November 16
  • Where: Martin Stadium, Pullman, WA

Not only did Washington State record a stellar 11-2 mark a year ago, but the Cougars also beat Stanford for the third straight season by taking down the Cardinal 41-38 on the road in a Week 9 thriller a year ago. This time around though, I like Stanford to extract some revenge seeing as how the Cougars will have a new starting quarterback for the second consecutive season and the Cardinal have a really good and underrated quarterback in KJ Costello.

Georgia at Auburn

  • When: Saturday, November 16
  • Where: Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn, AL

Auburn went a modest 8-5 a year ago, but the Tigers never cam close to upsetting mighty Georgia in their humbling 27-10 road loss against the Bulldogs in week 11 last season. Even on the road, Georgia is clearly the better team in all three phases and the only team in this Week 11 SEC showdown that is a legitimate four-team College Football Playoff contender!

Michigan State at Michigan

  • When: Saturday, November 16
  • Where: Michigan Stadium, Ann Arbor, MI

Michigan State was limited to a modest 7-6 record last season while Michigan went a fine, 10-3 despite once again coming up short of their College Football Playoff hopes. Not only that, but the Wolverines have won two of three in this longtime in-stat rivalry, including a convincing 21-7 road win over the Spartans last season. While Michigan State is rebuilding a bit in 2019, Michigan has some very real playoff hopes and they could keep them alive by getting the big win in this Week 12 Big Ten battle.
