We are just 2 weeks into the 2022 college football season, and we are already seeing a ton of upsets and drama. The one piece of information that seems the most staggering of all at this point is that the Georgia Bulldogs are the only team not to have surrendered a TD. The Bulldogs lost a ton of talent to the NFL Draft, but the early signs indicate that they have reloaded and are ready to go after a second consecutive championship. The wild start to the season is sure to have more than a few teams a little nervous, especially those who have already picked up losses on the season. Let’s now look ahead to Week 3 of the college football season to see if we can pick some winners against the spread. Let’s get right to it so you can bet against the NCAA Football Lines.
NCAAF Week 3 Against the Spread Betting Picks | 2022 College Football Analysis
Buffalo Bulls (+14) Vs Coastal Carolina Chanticleers
On the face of it, this looks like a definite mismatch, with the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers expected to win at home. The issue here, though, is the point spread, which might be just a little bit on the high side of things. The Buffalo Bulls have had one road game this season, in which they covered, but it is the Chanticleers that may well prove to be the problem here. They don’t do particularly well against the spread when in as a favorite, covering in just 3 of the last 10 games they have started with that label. This is certainly one that I would be willing to take a chance on.
Ole Miss Rebels (-17) Vs Georgia Tech Yellowjackets
Ole Miss is off to a solid start this season, going 2-0 to get things rolling. Under Lane Kiffin, this team has become an offensive juggernaut, which could prove to be problematic for Georgia Tech. For me, this spread is pretty damn tempting, especially when you consider that the Rebels are a 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 non-conference games. Georgia Tech is 1-1 to start the season, but they have not been a friend to those betting them to cover, failing to do so in either of those 2 games. That should probably not come as too much of a surprise, though, as this is a team that has managed to cover just 16 times in their last 51 games overall. I think we see Ole Miss win this one in comfortable fashion.
USF Bulls (+24 ½) Vs Florida Gators
The first two weeks of the season have certainly proven how unpredictable college football can be. The Florida Gators got things started with a big win over the Utah Utes in Week 1, but those good feelings were washed away rather quickly with a loss to Kentucky last weekend. We are going to see what this team is made of this weekend as we will see how they respond to adversity. I like them to get the win over the USF Bulls, but I’m not so sure they do it in the blowout fashion that the point spread would suggest. Over the course of their last 10 games, the Gators have covered just twice, so let’s take the Bulls to cover.
