Now, let’s find out where the value in this online betting matchup lies.

Here’s A Closer Look At The College Football Sooners Vs Wildcats Week 7 Predictions

When: Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12:00 PM ET Where: Memorial Stadium TV: ESPN Live Stream: Watch ESPN NCAAF Odds: Oklahoma Sooners -10 / Over/Under: 60.5

Bet The Kansas State Wildcats at +10 Because…

Oklahoma’s defense has been nearly non-existent all season long. Kansas State Wildcats is coming off a hard-fought 44-38 win over Texas Tech but is still looking for their first road victory of the season. The Wildcats haven’t beat a ranked team since 2014 but are averaging a healthy 34.2 points per game this season. Quarterback Jesse Ertz is completing a pitiful 48.6 percent of his passes for 688 yards with five touchdowns and two interceptions. Receivers Dominique Heath and Byron Pringle have combined for 337 receiving yards and three touchdowns while running back Charles Jones leads the rushing attack with 287 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, Kansas State is limiting the opposition to just 17.6 points per game.

Bet The Oklahoma Sooners at -10 Because…

The Sooners are playing at home. Oklahoma has won two straight and three of their last four games including their 45-40 Week 6 win over Texas last weekend. For the season, quarterback Baker Mayfield is completing an incendiary 68.5 percent of his passes for 1,457 yards with a dozen touchdowns and just four interceptions. Mayfield has tossed two or more touchdown passes in 12 of his last 13 games. Receivers Dede Westbrook and Mark Andrews have combined for 790 receiving yards and nine touchdowns while running back Samaje Perine leads the Sooners’ rushing attack with 461 yards and six touchdowns. Defensively, Oklahoma is allowing a generous 36.2 points and 428.4 yards per game.

Expert Prediction and Pick

The K-State Wildcats might be on the road in this Week 5 Big 12 battle, but they’re my pick to cover the ATS betting line at the very least, seeing as how they can score the ball with just about any team in the country and Oklahoma has been giving up points like they’re going out of style this season. While Oklahoma has gone 7-2 ATS in their last nine conference games, the Sooners are also 1-5 ATS in their last six games overall while Kansas State has gone 6-1-1 ATS in their last eight road games against Oklahoma. I know the Sooners pounded the Wildcats in their emphatic 55-0 road win last season, but these Big 12 rivals have alternated SU wins over the last four meetings and Oklahoma is clearly not the elite team that many expected them to be this season. Last but not least, I think Kansas State has an insane coaching edge with the beloved Bill Snyder on their sideline opposite Oklahoma’s Bob Stoops. K-State covers the spread with room to spare!

My Pick: Kansas State 35 Oklahoma 31
