In Depth Analysis On The Sure College Football Win Totals Under Picks

LSU 10 Wins

LSU Tigers (9-3 SU, 6-6 ATS) has a high win total to me, seeing as how they still have question marks at quarterback and will be on their third defensive coordinator in the last three years. The Tigers could suffer losses in their regular season opener against Wisconsin and additional matchups at auburn, at Florida, at home against a dangerous Ole Miss team, following another home date against Alabama. The Tigers also have tricky road dates at Arkansas and Texas A&M that could also result in losses. Play the under!

Baylor 9.5 Wins

The Bears went 10-3 last season, but lost head coach Art Briles in the offseason and have just five returning starters on both sides of the ball. Baylor still has a wealth of talent, but they have difficult matchups at home against Oklahoma State and TCU, followed by matchups at Oklahoma, at home against K-State, at high-scoring Texas Tech and at West Virginia. I see the Bears going under their win total.

Boise State 10.5 Wins

Boise State (9-4 SU, 7-6 ATS) won nine games in 2015, but I think the Broncos’ question marks on defense will ultimately limit them from reaching the 11-win plateau in 2016. Boise State has a blossoming quarterback in Brett Rypien, a gifted rusher in junior tailback Jeremy McNichols and an experienced wide receiver in senior Thomas Sprebeck. However, the Broncos also have just five returning starters on defense from a unit that was mostly underwhelming in 2015.

Washington 9 Wins

The Huskies (7-6 SU, 8-5 ATS) are looking to take the next step toward becoming a legitimate national championship contender under widely respected head coach Chris Petersen, but I can easily see Washington suffering losses at Arizona, at home against Stanford, at Oregon, at Utah and at home against USC.  I think the Huskies win nine games in 2016 to fall just short of their Over/Under total.

Central Florida 6 Wins

Central Florida (0-12 SU, 2-10 ATS) had an absolutely horrific 2016 season by failing to win a single. Making matters worse…the Knights will fall at home against Maryland, Temple, Cincinnati and Tulsa while dropping road dates at Michigan, Florida International, East Carolina, UConn, Houston and South Florida leaving them hovering right around what I expect to be two wins or three at most and making their 2016 win total odds a virtual lock!
