eSports Betting: CBLOL League of Legends April 24th Matches

Written by on April 23, 2020

The League of Legends eSports leagues operate all over the world, but while they all play the same game, the individual leagues operate under some different rules. They all have a spring and a summer season, and all have a playoff setup, but the regular season and playoff setups tend to be different. In the CBLOL, which is based in Brazil, there are 8 teams playing best of 1 series through the regular season. The team that finished bottom is relegated, while the top 4 teams head into the playoffs. The regular season is in its final stages, so let’s take a look at the 4 games on tap this coming April 24th and their League of Legends betting odds.

eSports Betting: CBLOL League of Legends April 24th Matches

Vivo Keyd (-232) Vs Furia Uppercut Esports (+156) – 12 PM EST

This is the final week of the 9-week regular season, with Vivo Keyd needing just 1 more win to ensure that they finish at the top of the CBLOL. They could have clinched already, but they lost their last game, taking their regular season record to 13-5. Furia Uppercut are down in 3rd with a 9-9 record, but they are certainly not guaranteed a playoff spot, as there are 3 teams with that same record right now as we head into the final weekend. Vivo Keys has won both meetings this season against Furia, so look for them to make it 3 for 3.

KABUM E-SPORTS (-105) Vs paIN Gaming (-136) – 1 PM EST

This is a huge League of Legends match for both teams, as it is one that has some serious playoff implications. KABUM is tied for 6th right now, but with an 8-10 record, they are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. To get there, though, they need to win out and hope to get some help along the way. They can certainly help their own cause with a win over 9-9 paIN, who are currently in a 3-way tie for 3rd in the league. A win for paIN would be huge in their battle to make the playoffs. These two have split their previous meetings, but KABUM are hot right now, winning 3 in a row, so I am taking them to win.

Flamengo eSports (-625) Vs Redemption Porto Alegre (+337) – 2 PM EST

This could well be the mismatch of the weekend, as it features a team with a shot at finishing first going against the team that looks a certainty to be relegated. Flamengo, who are 11-7, have an outside shot at getting first in the league, but they are realistically looking at the #2 seed for the playoffs. On the flipside, Redemption are dead last and pretty far adrift from the rest of the pack, and they look doomed to relegation at 5-13. This should be a straightforward win for Flamengo.

INTZ (-169) Vs Prodigy Esports (+116) – 3 PM EST

The final League of Legends game on the Friday schedule is another one that will have an impact on the playoff race. INTZ are tied for 6th at 8-10, but they can make things very interesting heading into the final 2 games of the regular season if they can pick up a win here. Prodigy Esports are one of 3 teams all knotted up at 9-9, so it goes without saying that they can really help their cause with a win here. INTZ has lost both meetings with Prodigy this season, so I am going with the slight upset here.
