Counter-Strike – DreamHack Open Tours 2019

Friday, May 17

  • mousesports vs Instinct

mousesports is in very good form. They lost 0:2 in the IEM – Sydney Playoffs to MIBR on May 2. Other than that, they’ve played great. They won all 3 of their matches at the IEM – Sydney. mousesports beat B.O.O.T 2:0, Renegades 2:0, and BIG 2:0.

Instinct will go off a huge underdog. They’re a Greek based eSports team that appears to just be getting started. Because it’s impossible to find any information on them, we must assume that a hot squad like mousesports will take the win.

eSports Betting Pick: mousesports

  • G2 vs FrenchFrogs

FrenchFrogs is another team we know pretty much nothing about. They’ve battled teams like expert, Virtus.Pro, ex-Fragsters, and Chaos. G2 is a major step up.

G2’s Counter-Strike squad was fantastic in April. They lost 0:2 to Optic in the Championship Series Europe Qualification on April 25. Before that, though, they dominated Fnatic 2:0, Navi 2:1, and Windigo 2:1. G2 should have no trouble taking down the FrenchFrogs on Friday. They’re the more experienced team. Not only that, but they’ve battled the much tougher opponents in recent months.

eSports Betting Pick: G2

  • Windigo vs Valiance

Serbian eSports team Valiance lost to Vitality in the Championship Series European Qualification. Valiance had beaten Forze 2:1 earlier. Before that match, they had lost to Avangar at the DreamHack Rio De Janeiro Playoffs.

Windigo had won 5 in a row. They beat some decent teams like G2 and MIBR. Things went south starting with their 1:2 loss to Valiance on March 31. April was a mess. Windigo lost to Navi, Fnatic, and G2. Unless Windigo turns their form around on Friday, Valiance should take this.

eSports Betting Pick: Valiance

  • Avangar vs Ghost

Optic beat Avangar 2:1 in Avangar’slast match on April 26. Before that, they had beaten eUnited, INTZ, Valiance, and Furia. They also beat Epsilon in the Championship Series Season 7 Europe Qualification.

Ghost should prevail on Friday. Ghost has battled the tougher opponents. They’ve beaten Order, NRG, complexity, and Lazarus in 4 of their last 6 Counter-Strike matches. They’ll take Avangar on May 17.

eSports Betting Pick: Ghost
