MyBookie brings you best bets for three League of Legends European Championship (LEC) 2021 Summer bouts, slated for Saturday, July 10. Today, we take a look at games featuring Team Vitality, SK Gaming, Astralis, Misfits, Fnatic, and Excel Esports.

Let’s jump straight into our eSports betting previews, with all the information you’ll ever need to place bets against their League of Legends odds.

Top 2021 League of Legends European Championship Matches to Wager on July 10th

Team Vitality vs SK Gaming

  • When: Saturday, July 10 – 17:00 CEST

Team Vitality and SK Gaming will clash on Saturday, July 10, for the second time of the season. These two European LoL teams last met on Saturday, June 19, when Vitality won with a massive 17.1k gold lead and 14-3 in kills.

Even though Vitality are obviously much stronger, they’re not a team you would want to bet on when they’re priced as the favorites. They have the talent to compete for a playoffs spot, but Vitality’s aggressive playstyle makes them a very 50/50 team that can lose against any LEC squad – as seen during LEC 2021 Summer Week 4 when the Bees fell apart against Astralis and Excel Esports.

The esports bookmakers seem to not care about Vitality’s volatility, which we should look to take advantage of. SK Gaming might be 1-8 on the season, but they have been playing well enough for us to believe that they can cause some chaos on Saturday.

While SK Gaming struggle to close out their games, they are fairly efficient in not giving up too much in their losses. Unless they get completely outclassed, SK Gaming tend to keep their kill score relatively close, which offers us a great opportunity to side with them with a +7.5 kill handicap.

Prediction: SK Gaming +7.5 kills

Misfits vs Astralis

  • When: Saturday, July 10 – 18:00 CEST

The second match of the day will see the high-flying Misfits take on the resilient Astralis in what promises to be a one-sided affair. Misfits already won against Astralis during the second week of the summer season and will now look to add another victory to their record.

Misfits are the current league frontrunner with a 7-2 record. Their only two losses came against Rogue and MAD Lions, who are two of the strongest teams in the league and LEC 2021 Spring finalists. Outside of those losses, Misfits have been very efficient in defeating weaker teams, so they should do more than fine against Astralis.

Although Astralis lack the individual quality of Misfits, they have been playing much better than many expected.  As the weakest team of the spring season, Astralis are 4-5 after four weeks of play, which is an impressive feat for a roster that lacks star players.

Much of Astralis’ power comes from their unique drafting, which can catch teams off guard. That could earn them a slight edge over the Bunnies, but it probably won’t be enough for Astralis to upset the current strongest European LoL team.

This match has the potential to turn into a bloodbath with 26+ kills across the board; however, I like the outsiders with a +7.5 kill handicap better. The LEC has become far more competitive this season, with underdogs often keeping scores tight, and I don’t see how this will change here.

Prediction: Astralis +7.5 kills

Fnatic vs Excel

  • When: Saturday, July 10 – 20:00 CEST

Excel swapped out a few of their players last week, and they instantly improved. Before the roster changes, Excel were 2-5 on the season but are now 4-5, having added two massive wins against Vitality and the eight-time LEC champions G2 Esports.

Although I wouldn’t overreact to those wins, considering Vitality and G2 aren’t in the best shape, it is undeniable that Excel is a much stronger team, ready to take on any LEC squad.

Fnatic are 6-3 on the season and look much more stable than how they did the last term. They’re also 3-1 in their previous four, with wins against Astralis, G2 Esports, and SK Gaming, and one loss to Schalke 04.

In their loss to Schalke 04, Fnatic looked terrible and reminded everyone that they can still drop the ball – like they did numerous times during the LEC 2021 Spring. However, it was a one-off game, so it doesn’t make much sense to put too much weight on that loss.

This one is tough to call. If you believe in Excel’s improvement and the longevity of their winning streak, siding with them to upset Fnatic is an excellent longshot bet. However, short flashes of greatness such as that of Excel last week usually don’t mean much in the long term.

You can’t go wrong with a smaller bet on Excel to win (priced at around +200), but I like the over 25.5 kills bet better. Both teams are still prone to giving up unnecessary kills, which should make this bout far bloodier than expected.

Fnatic should still win purely of the better individual players they field; however, Excel Esports are resilient enough to force a longer match.

Prediction: Over 25.5 kills
