The Bermuda Championship made its debut a year ago with current, world No. 41 Brendon Todd taking home the championship hardware with a finishing score of 24 under par 260 to beat out second place finisher Harry Higgs by four strokes. Todd shot a jaw-dropping final round of 9-under 62 to secure the win, which gave Todd a two-season exemption. The Bermuda Championship takes place from Oct. 29- Nov. 1, live from beautiful Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton Parish, Bermuda Now, let’s take a look at the odds, followed by my top five golfers to bet on.

Top Five Golfers To Bet On

No. 5 Henrik Stenson

Now ranked 129th in the FedEx standings, but a solid 54th in the official golf world rankings, 44-year-old Henrik Stenson is one of the biggest names in the field at the 2020 Bermuda Championship. Stenson won the 2016 British Open champion and has four other top five finishes in majors in his career. While the sweet-swinging Swedish star clearly isn’t the same player he was in his prime and last won on the PGA Tour at the 2017 Wyndham Championship, I’m thinking he’s due to make a run at another title. Stenson missed the cut at both, the U.S. Open and Sanderson Farms Championship, but managed a solid T21 in the Corales Puntacana Championship in late September. Stenson ranks an encouraging 20th in driving accuracy (70.5%) and looks god to me as a longshot selection.

No. 4 Doc Redman

The 22-year-old Redman is 35th in the FedEx standings and 88th in the official golf world rankings. More importantly, the North Carolina native has been playing well in recent weeks. Redman finished an impressive T3 in the Safeway Open in September before finishing T28 in the Sanderson Farms Championship to kick off October. While Redman missed the cut in the Shriners Open, he ranks an encouraging 22nd greens in regulation and 48th in birdie average (4.50). I think Redman will have a real chance.

No. 3 Harold Varner III

The still-blossoming Varner is ranked 120th in the world rankings, but a more impressive 73rd in the FedEx standings. The 30-year-old Ohio native has his 2020-21 campaign off to a fine start after finishing T29 at the Safeway Open and T13 in the Shriners Open in his last two outings. Varner ranks 48th in driving distance, 41st in greens in regulation and a stunning first in birdie average (5.75). While he’s still in search of his first career win on the PGA Tour, Varner is talented enough to get it in Bermuda.

No. 2 Stewart Cink

Now, 47-years-old and well past his prime, Stewart Cink won the 2009 U.S. Open and has recorded three other top three finishes in majors. More importantly, Cink has been rock-solid since the start of the new season. After stunning everyone en route to the title in the Safeway Open, Cink finished T12 in the Sanderson Farms Championship and T64 in the Shriners Open. Cink also ranks a stellar 29th in driving distance (313.5), 16th in G.I.R and 24th in birdie average (4.50). I like Cink to challenge for the win and love his value-packed +4500 odds to win.

No. 1 Will Zalatoris

The talented Korn Ferry Tour graduate was outstanding last season in recording one win, one second place finish and one third place finish in 16 events. Zalatoris also racked up 10 Top-10 finishes and a whopping 14 Top-25 finishes while never missing a cut. More importantly, the California native finished a stupendous T6 in the recently completed U.S. Open and now looks like he could claim his first win on the PGA Tour.
