This year’s event marks the 73rd time we will be having the prestigious Pebble Beach Pro-Am event after it was first hosted by Bing Crosby in 1937. The 2016 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am will be held on three courses for the first three days: Pebble Beach Gold Links, Monterey Peninsula Country Club, and Spyglass Hill Golf Club.In total, 156 golfers will be paired with 156 amateur celebrities to form 52 two-man teams for the highly anticipated event. After 54 holes, the 25 best Pro-Am teams will advance to the PGA TOUR final, along with golfers that have the top-60 low scores. After setting a course record of 265 one year ago and winning this event in 2015 and 2013, Snedeker certainly warrants the confidence that he could become the 16th man to win multiple titles at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Not to mention, the 35-year-old pro golfer notched a top-25 in 2011, something that should motivate him for a strong show in this course he knows so damn well, and has excelled at repeatedly.Jordan Spieth
While Snedeker is a favorite for bettors that love repeat winners, Spieth is the man to beat, as far as good form is concerned. Unlike Snedeker who struggled at the recent Waste Phoenix Management Open, Spieth is as hot as ever, coming off incredible top-10 performances in three world tour tournaments over the past four weeks, including the eight-stroke win at the Hyundai Tournament of Champions in Mid-January. Some questions can be rightfully raised in regards to his short rest, but for a man that has shown the ability to breeze through back-to-back tournaments, Pebble Beach shouldn’t be a biggie.
