With the 2020-21 PGA Tour season rolling right along, it’s time to check out the odds to win this week’s 2021 PGA Zurich Classic of New Orleans. This event is a tag-team tournament that pairs two golfers together into 80 teams.  The 2021 Zurich Classic begins on Thursday, April 22, live from TPC Louisiana. The course is a 7,425-yard, par-72 venue over 250 acres of wetlands that features more than 100 bunkers. Let’s take a closer at the upcoming event so you can make your bets against their Golf odds.

Round 2 — Friday, April 23, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. ET

  • Featured groups: 9:15 a.m. – 6 p.m.

The team of Jon Rahm (OGWR N0. 2) and Ryan Palmer (No. 27) are defending champs and prohibitive favorites at +550 after winning here in 2019. World No. 25 Cameron Smith and world No. 37 Marc Leishman are tied for second on the odds board at +800. with Tony Finau and Cameron Champ and Billy Horschel and Sam Burns. World No. 5  Xander Schauffele and world No. 10 Patrick Cantlay are tied for third on the odds leaderboard at +1200 with Bubba Watson and Scottie Scheffler.

Odds to win 2021 Zurich Classic

Last year’s tournament was one of several canceled due to COVID-19. Rahm has finished inside the top 10 eight times in 12 events this season, including a T-5 finish at the Masters. Palmer tied for 34th at Augusta. In 2018, the team of Billy Horschel and Scott Piercy beat out Jason Dufner and Pat Perez for the win. In 2017, Cameron Smith and Jonas Blixt outlasted the duo of Kevin Kisner and Scott Brown.

Jon Rahm ranks sixth in greens-in-regulation and eighth in scoring average (69.8). 12th in the Official Golf World Rankings, Tony Finau ranks eighth in eagles and ninth in scoring average (69.9). 25th in the OGWR, Cameron Smith ranks 12th in birdie average and an identical 12th in scoring average (70.0). 21st in the OGWR, Scottie Scheffler ranks 31st in driving distance and G.I.R. and ranks 16th in birdie average (4.40) Fourth in the official golf world rankings, Collin Morikawa ranks seventh in driving accuracy (70.45%) and fourth in birdie average (4.64).
