On Saturday, Belmont runs the Grade 3 Peter Pan Stakes, the prep for the Belmont Stakes on June 10, and the Grade 1 Man O’War, one of the meet’s top turf races. Connections for four equines have confirmed they are running in this Saturday’s Runhappy Stakes. Named after one of the best sprinters in the past twenty years, the Runhappy Stakes may boast a short field, but all four have talent.
Drafted won the Gravesend at Aqueduct last December. Mr. Phil has won 4-of-6 and David Jacobsen trained Stage Left won the King T. Leatherbury Stakes in the last. Even Beren has a big chance.

Todd Pletcher plans to saddle two runners for the Peter Pan Stakes. Pletcher will put the saddle on 2-time winner Classic Catch and Go Soldier Go, which heads to Pletcher’s barn after finishing fifth in the UAE Derby in the last.
Like Pletcher, Brad Cox will saddle a couple in here. Cox trains Slip Mahoney, the possible favorite, and Bishops Bay.
Linda Rice trained Arctic Arrogance returns to the track for the Peter Pan. Didinger, Asmodeus, and Henry Q should also run.
