Grade 3 Gotham Stakes – 1 mile dirt – 3 year olds
Trainer Brad Cox plans on entering a pair of runners in this Derby prep. Slip Mahoney will be Cox’s underdog play. Brad’s runner that should challenge for the win money is Eyeing Clover.
Todd Pletcher saddles Clubhouse. Linda Rice trained Arctic Arrogance, Carmel Road from the Tim Yakteen barn, and Mike McCarthy trained Lugan Knight should also attract action.
Gulfstream Park
Grade 2 Davona Dale – 1 mile dirt – 3 year old fillies
Third in the Forward Gal in her last, Todd Pletcher trained Anatomically should attract enough action where she goes off the chalk. Forward Gal winner Red Carpet Ready will have her admirers.
So will second place Forward Gal finisher Undervalued Asset. Other likely entrants are Infinite Diamond, Positano Sunset, and Guns N’ Graces.
Grade 2 Fountain of Youth Stakes – 1 1/16 miles dirt – 3 year olds
Claude “Shug” McGaughey trained General Jim won the Grade 3 Swale in the last. No doubt, Jim will enter the gate one of the favorites to win this. The chalk should end up Todd Pletcher trained Forte, the 2022 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner. Shadow Dragon, Holy Bull winner Rocket Can, Legacy Isle, and Blazing Sevens will also attract action.

Grade 2 San Felipe Stakes – 1 1/16 miles dirt – 3 year olds
Ed Moger Jr. sends El Camino Real Derby winner Chase The Chaos down the Pacific Coast Highway to run in the San Felipe Stakes on Saturday.
If Chase The Chaos can handle the dirt, the Moger runner will be tough to beat. National Treasure and Practical Move appear to be the biggest challengers to Chaos’ run into the winner’s circle.Grade 1 Frank E. Kilroe Mile – 1 mile turf – 4 year olds & up
