Brad Cox will put the saddle on Tawny Port and D. Wayne Lukas plans on entering Ethereal Road.

Only one equine is confirmed for the Alfred G. Vanderbilt Handicap, champion sprinter Jackie’s Warrior. Flightline and Speaker’s Corner may join the fray. Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner Aloha West, Mind Control from the Todd Pletcher barn, and Mike McCarthy trained Ce Ce may also run.
Del Mar – Saturday, July 30
- Grade 2 San Diego Handicap – 1 1/16 miles dirt – 3 year olds and up
Del Mar’s prep for the Grade 1 Pacific Classic should boast a full field. At least 10 runners figure to break from the gate. In addition to rivals Stiletto Boy and Express Train, connections for Country Grammar plan on entering the Dubai World Cup winner. 2021 Kentucky Derby winner Mandaloun will ship from Kentucky to enter the starting gate, and 2021 Pacific Classic winner Tripoli also figures to enter.

Six runners have confirmed for the Bing Crosby on Saturday. Grade 2 Triple Bend winner American Theorem will resume his rivalry against Triple Bend second place finisher Principe Carlo. Others expected to run include Letsgetlucky, Bagboss, Desmond Doss and Howbeit.
Saratoga – Sunday, July 31
- Grade 2 Bowling Green – 1 3/8 miles turf – 4 year olds and up
Three runners from three of the best trainers in the world will head to Saratoga’s turf on Sunday. Chad Brown puts the saddle on Rockemperor, Brad Cox will enter Arklow, and Cristophe Clement will go with Soldier Rising. Yibir and Highland Chief may also enter the gate.
Del Mar – Sunday, July 31
- Grade 2 Eddie Read – 1 1/8 miles turf – 3 year olds and up
The Eddie Read should attract at least six runners. Master Piece, trained by Mike McCarthy, Paul D’Amato trained Cathkin Peak, Tango Tango Tango from the Jack Sisterson barn, and Ed Moger Jr. will put the saddle on Tarantino. King Cause trained by Mike Maker and Beyond Brilliant from the John Shirreffs barn also figure to run.
