Cubs Look to Narrow Series Deficit vs. Dodgers as NLCS Game 3 Odds Favorite.

Top MLB Parlays Of The Weekend (Sep 2-4)

Written by on September 2, 2016

While all the talk this weekend is about the start of the college football season, it is worth remembering that we are now starting to come down to the wire in the MLB. There are still some very good playoff races going on, although it has to be said that a few teams already looked to have punched their tickets. We may get to see some new faces on teams this weekend, as September 1st means that every team can expand their rosters. Watch for guys coming up from the minors to take spots on some of the struggling teams, which may just add a little bit of a spark. As we always do on Friday’s, let’s look ahead at the weekend to see if we can pick out some parlay plays to help boost the bankroll. I will be picking two games for each of the 3 days, so be sure to keep an eye on the live odds for these.

Top MLB Parlays Of The Weekend (Sep 2-4)

MLB Parlay for Friday Sept. 2

The Chicago Cubs are absolutely on fire right now, which they actually appear to have been all season. Kris Bryant is on a 14-game hitting streak, and everyone seems to be playing to a higher level. The Cubs already took the first game of the series over the Giants, and I think they will win again on Friday afternoon. The Giants have lost their last 5 games at Wrigley Field, and this should be number 6.The New York Mets are in a Wild Card battle right now, but are starting to play some really good ball at home. They have a tough series against the Nationals this weekend, who they have not played well against this year. The ace in the hole for the Mets here, though, is Noah Syndergaard who has been nothing short of brilliant in his last 2 starts. A win for the Mets on Friday.

MLB Parlay for Saturday Sept. 3

As it stands at the moment, the Red Sox have about an 86% chance of making it to the playoff, and they have a shot to improve that over the Oakland A’s this weekend. The A’s come into this one having lost 3 in a row, and you have to think that Boston should be able to put them away.I would have to say that the gimme of the weekend is the Dodgers against the Padres. San Diego have been truly awful, and are coming off a sweep at the hands of the Atlanta Braves. The Dodgers are looking to open up a bigger lead in the West, especially with the Giants having to play the Cubs this weekend. The Dodgers should win this one comfortably.

MLB Parlay for Sunday Sept. 4

The St. Louis Cardinals have some work to do if they want to be in the playoffs, and they have a good chance to help their cause with a series against the woeful Cincinnati reds this weekend. There is a good chance for a sweep here, but I particularly like their chances on Sunday. It’s the battle of Texas this weekend with the Rangers and Astros going head to head. This should be a tight series, but I like the Rangers to get the job done on Sunday with You Darvish on the mound. He has 3 wins in his last 5 starts, and the Rangers have won each of those games.
