As we head into July, the talk in baseball circles is almost certainly going to turn to the All-Star Game and the trade deadline. It’s a strange little part of the baseball season where the action on the field almost becomes secondary to what’s going on behind the scenes when it comes to disclosing the latest MLB parlay picks. That is not the case for us, though, as we are always thinking about what bet to play next. The one great thing about weekends in professional baseball is that there are always plenty of games to choose from, and this weekend is no different. We have already put together some straight up picks that we like, but now it’s time to turn out attention to the parlay. I am going with a 3-team parlay for each of the 3 days, but you can go smaller, or perhaps play these in a round-robin.
Analyzing The Winning 2017 MLB Parlay Picks for the Weekend Betting Action
MLB Parlay Picks for Friday, June 30
I always like to add what I believe to be a gimme play, if there really is such a thing, on my parlay ticket, and on Friday, it doesn’t get more clear cut than the Mets over the Phillies. The Mets have not been good this year, but when Jacob deGrom takes the mound, they more often than not look like the team we expected them to be. Mets win this one going away. The Chicago White Sox have only managed 2 wins in their last 10 games, and while the Texas Rangers have not exactly been lighting things up, they should be more than good enough to get the win in this one.Tyson Ross is coming off an absolute gem for the Rangers, and I like him to keep it rolling on Friday night. The Kansas City Royals have been slowly creeping their way back into contention in the Central division, and they have a chance to take over 2nd place if they can take care of the Twins this weekend.I like the Royals to get this series off to a winning start.PICK: Mets, Rangers, RoyalsMLB Parlay Picks for Saturday, July 1
My top pick for Saturday has to be the Boston Red Sox over the Toronto Blue Jays. Chris Sale has been about as close to unbeatable as it gets this season, and I think he will shut down the Toronto offense on Saturday. The Atlanta Braves are in Oakland this weekend, and on Saturday they will send the seemingly ageless R.A. Dickey to the mound. The knuckleballer has been close to unhittable in his last two starts, only giving up a single earned run. We might get the Braves at a decent price here, so well worth throwing them onto our parlay ticket. The Colorado Rockies are in a bit of a freefall right now, and they are in danger of falling even further off the pace in the NL West if they stumble against the Diamondbacks.Unfortunately, that’s exactly what I think they will do on Saturday when they need to go up against Zack Greinke on the mound.PICK: Red Sox, Braves, Diamondbacks
