LFA 137: Gibson Vs Amil Betting Favorites, Fights Analysis & Predictions

This MMA weekend gets off to a big start, as LFA 137 will go on Friday night with no less than 8 fights on the main card. Since this event is being held in California, it’s a bit of a later start for those on the east coast, with the main card set to begin at 10 PM EST. Well worth staying up for though, let’s quickly break down all 8 fights so you can prepare yourself to bet against the LFA Betting Odds.

MMA Betting Preview for LFA 137: Gibson Vs Amil

Pauline Macias Vs Amber Brown

The ladies get the night started with a Strawweight bout that both fighters really need to win. Macias saw her pro career get off to a fast start with 4 straight wins, but she comes into this one on the heels of back-to-back losses. Things are even worse for Brown, as she has lost 4 of her last 5 to fall to 7-6. I think Macias takes this one by decision.

Billy Elekana Vs Daniel Compton

We have the men in the octagon next for a Middleweight bout that looks to be a little one-sided. Elekana has made a fast start to life as a pro, winning his first 4 fights, with 3 of those wins coming inside the distance. Compton is a respectable 6-2 and come in on a 3-fight win streak, but this feels like a step up for him, which is why I like Elekana by KO.

Leandro Gomes Vs Javier Garcia

We have a Featherweight bout up next on the main card, with both fighters looking to bounce back from a loss. Gomes is 6-2 overall and a saw a 4-fight win streak come to an end with the loss last time out. Garcia has fallen to 8-5 after losing 2 of his last 3 fights and I fear that his bad luck may continue, as I like Gomes for the win in this one.

Cody Davis Vs Mark Climaco

Next up we have a pair of Flyweights who have combined for just 1 loss in their pro careers. Davis is a perfect 5-0, but he has had to work to get those wins, with 4 of them going the distance. Climaco started life as a pro with 6 straight wins, but he lost in the opening round last time out. A good matchup here and I have Davis by decision.

Jean-Paul Lebosnoyani Vs Caleb Hall

Not a ton of experience to be found in this Lightweight bout, but both fighters have been good at picking up wins. Lebosnoyani comes into this one with a 4-1 record and has picked up all his wins inside the distance. Hall is a perfect 4-0 and has never had to go beyond the opening round in any of those wins. I like Hall to continue rolling with the KO win.

Jacob Rosales Vs Darren Smith Jr.

Experience is not an issue in this Catchweight bout, with both of these guys having a lot of fights under their belts. Rosales is 13-7 overall, but he has struggled of late, losing 3 of his last 5 fights. Smith is 21-12 and is coming in off a win that snapped a 2-fight losing streak. I like this one to go the distance, with Rosales getting the win.

Ricardo Dias Vs John Sweeney

We have a pair of Bantamweights stepping into the octagon for the co-main event of the night. Dias comes into this fight on the heels of a loss that dropped his overall record to 10-5. Sweeney is 10-3 and on a good run of form after winning each of his last 4 fights. I think this one will go all the way, with Sweeney getting the decision.

Chase Gibson Vs Hyder Amil

We close the night out with a Featherweight bout and one fighter looking to maintain a perfect record. Gibson is 11-5 overall and has been in good form of late, winning 2 in a row and 4 of his last 5. Amil is a perfect 6-0, with his last 2 wins coming under the LFA banner. This should be a fun one to close out the night and I like Amil with the decision.
