As we head into the Independence Day weekend, the battle for playoff spots in the Xfinity Series continues to intensify. Auston Cindric is looking like the man to beat, but there are a lot of drivers sitting just off the pace who could make things very tough for him. This weekend, NASCAR will be in Wisconsin at the Road America track. The Henry 180 will run on Saturday at 2:30 PM EST and given how things have gone there in the past, you have to think that there is a definite favorite heading into this race. Let’s take a look at the current top 4 drivers in the Xfinity Series so you can bet against their NASCAR Xfinity Series odds.
NASCAR Xfinity Series Betting Odds Analysis for Henry 180 Race
Austin Cindric
The defending Xfinity Series champion is also the man sitting atop the driver standings heading into this weekend. He extended his lead at the top with a win at Pocono last weekend, which means that he now has 4 wins on the season. It is never easy to repeat as a champion, but at this point, you have to say that Cindric is making it look as though it’s not that difficult at all. You also have to like his chances again this weekend, as he won there last season. On top of that, he also finished 2nd at Road America back in 2019. It would not be a surprise to see him win again on Sunday.
AJ Allmendinger
After spending the majority of his career plying his trade in the Cup Series, Allmendinger made the move to the Xfinity Series on a full-time basis this season. It is a move that has paid off, as he is hot on the heels of Cindric at the top of the driver standings. He has already picked up a pair of wins on the season, but it has been his overall consistency that has him so high up in the standings. Through the first 16 races of the season, he has landed in the top 10 no less than 10 times. While he has not been a consistent driver in the Xfinity Series before this season, he did race at Road America last season, finishing 2nd behind Cindric.
Justin Allgaier
For a driver to win a championship, they need to be consistent from start to finish, or at least get hot coming down the stretch and into the playoffs. Allgaier has essentially done both, as he is coming into the weekend already having won a pair of races this season. That aside, though, he is on a run in recent weeks that proves he is a real challenger, finishing in the top 3 in 3 straight races. While he did not have a great run at Road America last season, it is worth remembering that he won at that track back in 2019, so he cannot be counted out here.
Daniel Hemric
After finishing 3rd and 4th overall in his first 2 seasons in the Xfinity Series, Hemric made the jump to the Cup Series for a full season before returning. Interestingly enough, as successful as he has been at this level, he has yet to get his first win. He has been in the top 5 6 times this season, so he has certainly had some close calls. His best finish at Road America was a 3rd back in 2018.
