NASCAR Contender Boats 300 Odds Favorites, Betting Analysis and Picks 2022

We are getting down to the wire now in the Xfinity Series playoffs, with just 2 races to come in the Round of 8. Only 4 drivers will move on with a chance to win it all in the final race of the season, and we have already had one punch their ticket. Josh Berry won last weekend and will be racing for the Xfinity Series Championship in a few weeks, but who will be joining him there? We might get an answer to that this weekend, assuming that one of the other drivers taking part in the Round of 8 can come away with the win. The pressure is very much on all the drivers who have yet to move on, so we can probably expect some real excitement at the Contender Boats 300 at Homestead this coming Saturday. Let’s take a look at the current top 4 in the Xfinity Series standings so you can continue betting against their NASCAR Xfinity Series Odds.

NASCAR Xfinity Series Betting Preview for the 2022 Contender Boats 300 Race

Josh Berry

It has been a truly astonishing season for Berry, especially when you consider that this is his first full year racing in the Xfinity Series. Winning a couple of races in the regular season and doing enough to get into the playoffs would likely be considered a successful first season, but with his win in Las Vegas last weekend, Berry will now be 1 of 4 drivers in with a shot at winning it all. While the pressure is off a little this weekend, Berry will still be looking to keep his momentum going over the final 3 races of the season.

Noah Gragson

If we were taking bets on who might end the season as the champion a few weeks ago, Gragson would have probably been the driver we chose. He went on an absolute tear in the playoffs, winning 4 in a row before cooling off a little over the past 3 races. We say a little, because he still managed 2 more podium finishes in those 3 races. Podiums do not guarantee you a spot in the final 4, though, so you can bet Gragson will be going all out for the win on Saturday. He does have a previous top 5 finish at Homestead, so this may be his weekend.

Ty Gibbs

Gibbs made a rather dramatic entrance to the Xfinity Series last season, winning 4 races while running on a part-time basis. He went all-in this season and is having another stellar year, picking up 5 more wins. All very impressive, but Gibbs is still looking for his first playoff win, and the pressure must now be mounting. He has been no worse than 7th in 7 of his last 8 runs, so he is certainly knocking on the door. He has to be considered one of the favorites this weekend.

Justin Allgaier

Is it going to be another almost year for Allgaier, who is currently sitting in 4th in the driver standings? This is a driver that has been the epitome of consistency for a decade, but who has somehow failed to walk away with a championship. He is in the mix again this year, but he has also now gone 12 races without a win. Homestead has not been kind to him over the last few seasons, so my confidence in him winning this Saturday is not high.
