NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Betting Predictions for the Final Races of the 2022 Season

Written by on October 26, 2022

After all the thrills, spills, and checkered flags, we are now just 2 races away from crowning the Xfinity Series Champion for the 2022 season. This weekend, the drivers will be in Martinsville for the final race in the Round of 8, with just 2 spots remaining in the final 4. The pressure is on those drivers who have not yet punched their ticket, but we will talk about that race in more depth in a separate article. For now, we are pulling out the crystal ball and looking ahead to see how things might end up playing out the rest of the way. Let’s get the ball rolling by looking at the current top 4 so you can continue betting against the NASCAR Xfinity Series Odds.

Top Three 2022 NASCAR Xfinity Series Championship Betting Favorites and Who Might Win the Title

The Top 4 Drivers With 2 Races Remaining

As we already mentioned, there are just 2 spots remaining in the final four, with those places set to be filled this weekend. What that means is that a pair of drivers have already punched their tickets to the championship race. Josh Berry booked his spot with a win in Las Vegas, while Noah Gragson won last weekend to, unsurprisingly, move on to the final round.

The other 2 drivers currently sitting above the cut line are Ty Gibbs and AJ Allmendinger. Both of these guys have been consistently good from start to finish this season, and you have to say that both are deserving of a spot in the final 4, but we will have to wait and see if it plays out that way. I’m not suggesting that Allmendinger is at the tail end of his career, but at his age, you do have to say that he is running out of time to win a championship.

Season Ending Predictions

If I had to choose one driver sitting below the cut line to make a move in the final Round of 8 race, it would probably be Justin Allgaier. This is a driver who has been arguably the most consistent in the Xfinity Series over the past decade, as he is almost always in a position to win a championship at this late stage of the season. He has never actually won a title, though, and if he misses out this year, it will have to be considered a bit of a failure.

We will talk about the potential final standings in a minute, but first, I think we need to predict the winner of the whole thing. For me, it is Noah Gragson who looks set to end the season as the Xfinity Series Champion. He has been on fire in the playoffs, raising his game to new levels at a time when it matters most.

I think the biggest threat to Gragson is Ty Gibbs, but the young man has not been at his best coming down the stretch. One great race can change all that, though, and if he can win this weekend, momentum might carry him to t title. I still think he is looking at 2nd overall, though. As far as rounding out the top 3, I believe it will be Allmendinger or Allgaier taking that spot.
