In his three games during the 2021 tournament, he averaged nearly 27 points per contest and shot 40% from beyond the three-point line. He also doesn’t have to do it alone as Connor Vanover is a quality big man who was once in the SEC with Arkansas, and Issac McBride is also an All-Summit league performer.

This one might be a bit of a stretch, as VCU needed the automatic qualifier to get into the field. That said, they dispatched the rest of the Atlantic 10 with relative ease behind a defense that is incredibly intense.
Of course, in Saint Mary’s they face an opponent that is equally stingy on defense and the Rams are not particularly gifted when on the offensive side of the court. Ace Baldwin and Brandon Johns are capable, but neither is going to put thirty points on the board in all likelihood.
