The top players in the National Football League will gather in Hawaii for another edition of the annual Pro Bowl, which will be played on January 31, 2016 at the Aloha Stadium in Honolulu. While most bettors will be fully focused on the upcoming Super Bowl. The two teams will be drafted and captained by Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receivers Jerry Rice (winning 2014 Pro Bowl captain) and Michael Irvin (winning 2015 Pro Bowl captain). Irvin and Rice will be back for the second time after winning their respective games during the previous two Pro Bowls.Andy Reid of the Kansas City Chiefs and Mike McCarthy of the Green Bay Packers will serve as the game’s coaches. Reid and McCarthy were selected for coaching the highest seeded teams from each conference to lose in the Divisional Round of 2015–16 NFL playoffs, which has been the standard since the 2010 Pro Bowl. The first draft of Pro Bowl players was determined by the consensus votes of fans, players and coaches. Each group’s vote counted one-third toward determining the 86 Pro Bowl selections announced earlier. Two additional “need” players will be selected by each head coach and must be long snappers. Players will be assigned to teams through the Pro Bowl Draft presented by USAA, which will air on Wednesday, January 27th at 7:30 pm on ESPN2.The game will keep its “unconferenced” format introduced in the 2014 Pro Bowl. This is also the seventh consecutive year that the Pro Bowl is scheduled on the week prior to the Super Bowl. The game will begin at 2 P.M. local time (7 P.M. EST) and will be televised nationally by ESPN.
