The LA Rams come into the 2022 NFL season as the defending champions, but the belief among many is that it will be an AFC team that takes it all this season. Moves made in the offseason make it seem like the AFC will be stronger than the NFC this year, although that kind of chatter tends to go out the window once the season actually begins. For this piece, though, we are going to stick with the AFC and look at the biggest rivalry games on the schedule so you can get all set and place your bets against their NFL Lines.

Week 1 – Pittsburgh Steelers at Cincinnati Bengals
In recent years, we have seen the team that lost in the Super Bowl struggle the following season. I’m not so sure that happens to the Bengals in 2022, but they will get a tough start to the season at home against the new look Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC North battle.
Week 2 – LA Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs
We have seen some great young QBs come into the league over the past few seasons, with two of them set to go head-to-head in Week 2. The battle between Justin Herbert and Patrick Mahomes should be fun to watch.
Week 3 – Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots
Can Mac Jones avoid a sophomore slump and deliver the good for the Patriots? Can Lamar Jackson come back healthy and lead the Ravens to the Super Bowl? Lots of questions here, but two very good teams squaring off.
Week 5 – Indianapolis Colts at Denver Broncos
Two new QBs set to go in this one. By new, I mean new to the teams they will be starting with this season. Matt Ryan Vs Russell Wilson promises to be a fun one to watch.
Week 10 – Indianapolis Colts at Las Vegas Raiders
Given all that went down in Sin City last season, the Raiders did well to make the playoffs. With a new head coach and some key pieces added, might they be ready to make a run this season? This one could be a potential Wild Card preview.
Week 11 – Cleveland Browns at Buffalo Bills
Not everyone is pleased with the length of suspension received by DeShaun Watson, but by the time this game rolls around, he will have been back in the fold for a few weeks. Whether he makes a difference against the high-flying Bills remains to be seen.
Week 12 – Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans
Over the past few seasons, the Tennessee Titans have been racking up wins, but with the exception of one season, they have failed to make much of an impact in the postseason. Two potential playoff teams meet here in what should be a good one.
Week 13 – Buffalo Bills at New England Patriots
There are many fans and pundits out there who believe that the AFC East is the Bills for the taking, but might we see a surprise in 2022? The Patriots will certainly believe that they can win the division, and this game will go a long way toward deciding that.
Week 18 – Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals
What better way to close out the regular season than with a divisional rivalry game that might just end up being a decider to see who wins the AFC North? I expect that both teams will have clinched playoff spots by this point.
