Must Bet Games in Week 2 of the 2022-23 NFL Season

2022 NFL Week 2

  • When: Thursday, Sep. 15 – Monday, Sep. 19

Los Angeles Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs -3

  • Thursday, Sep. 15

On paper, the Chargers and the Chiefs are Super Bowl contenders so this will be an interesting early season game. We know the Chiefs should be as good as they have been in the past few seasons.

However, the Chargers are the new kids on the block. LAC has a chance to be the best team in the AFC West. The Bolts may not win this straight up, but they should keep the final score to within a field goal.

NFL Week 2 Pick: Los Angeles Chargers

Tampa Bay Buccaneers -3 ½ at New Orleans Saints

  • Sunday, Sep. 18

The Saints own the Buccaneers during the regular season. New Orleans has won four straight over their rivals. This season, the Saints might be the overall better team. Forget the against the spread odds. Back the Saints to win straight up.

NFL Week 2 Pick: New Orleans Saints ML

New England Patriots -1 ½ at Pittsburgh Steelers

  • Sunday, Sep. 18

Pittsburgh and New England should be similar this season. But the Patriots have the edge in this game because 2022 is Mac Jones’ second season. The jury is out on how good Kenny Pickett will be. Pittsburgh’s defense should have trouble stopping Jones from moving the football. Patriots cover.

NFL Week 2 Pick: New England Patriots

Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens -4

  • Sunday, Sep. 18

The Ravens won’t be a bad team. They shouldn’t be as good as the Miami Dolphins, though. No. Seriously. The Fins traded for Tyreek Hill and brought in the perfect person to serve as head coach in Mike McDaniel. The former San Francisco offensive coordinator will help Tua become an elite passer. But McDaniel loves to run the ball. So the Ravens will have to pay attention to both the rush and the pass.

NFL Week 2 Pick: Miami Dolphins.

Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys -2 ½

  • Sunday, Sep. 18

The line should be reversed. Cincinnati is the better team. The Bengals had to shore up the right side of their offensive line. So they signed former Cowboy La’el Collins. Dallas should struggle to win this one. If Joe Burrow can escape the Cowboys’ rush, he’ll make Dallas’ defense pay.

NFL Week 2 Pick: Cincinnati Bengals ML

Tennessee Titans at Buffalo Bills -7

  • Monday, Sep. 19

Covering a 7-point spread versus a very good team doesn’t often happen. However, the Titans traded away Ryan Tannehill’s top target, wide receiver A.J. Brown. Without Brown, Tannehill should struggle in the passing game. Derrick Henry is a great rusher. But no running back can have success without the threat of a passing attack. Bills roll.

NFL Week 2 Pick: Buffalo Bills -7

Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles -2 ½

  • Monday, Sep. 19

Philadelphia is the team that traded for Brown. On paper, the Eagles have a better team than the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are stronger at quarterback, though. So does having the better QB, Kirk Cousins versus Jalen Hurts, mean Minnesota wins this straight up? It does.

NFL Week 2 Pick: Minnesota Vikings ML
