Washington Commanders Over/Under 7 ½

The Commanders should win 7 games for sure. If Washington beats Jacksonville, Detroit, Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, and split with the Giants and the Eagles, that’s 7 wins.

The other victory should be no issue. Neither Dallas nor Washington should complete a sweep over the other. The most ruthless rivalry in the NFL won’t miss a beat just because Washington has a new nickname. 8 wins is more than a possibility.

Commanders to win the NFC East +500

All four teams in the NFC East can win the division. Dallas, Philadelphia, the New York Giants and Washington are good enough to take the division title.

The Cowboys should win the division. But Washington should offer odds more comparable to Philadelphia’s than to the Giants’. The Commanders have the more proven quarterback than the Eagles in Carson Wentz.

The Eagles are +165 to win the NFC East. So the odds on D.C. make the Commanders an overlay.

Wentz threw for 3,563 yards and 27 TDs. He tossed just 7 picks. Carson should have a much better season tossing the pigskin to Terry McLaurin and rookie Jahan Dotson than he did throwing it to Indianapolis’ receivers.
