We have reached the point of the NFL season when talking about potential division winners and playoff spots starts to make a little more sense. Things are pretty tight across the board, with every game from this point forward taking on a new level of importance. There are a few teams who look to be well on their way to a postseason spot, but there are many more who are hovering right around the cut line. A losing skid now might prove to be the difference between getting in and missing out on the playoffs. As always, there are a handful of games that jump off the page when looking at the NFL Week 9 schedule, and those are the ones that we are looking at as the must bet games of the week. LLet’s take a closer look at these great NFL Betting matchups
Must Bet NFL Games Week 9Buffalo Bills at New York Jets
It is no real surprise to see the Buffalo Bills sitting atop the AFC East at this stage of the season, as that is where we all expected them to be. The surprise in this division is that the New York Jets, who have been a disaster for years, are currently hot on their heels. These two teams are separated by a single win, so this one is absolutely huge. The expectation is that the Bills will win, but the Jets will be looking at this game as a measuring stick of sorts to see how far off they are from being truly competitive in the division and the playoff race as a whole.LA Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Prior to the start of the season, many of us probably looked at the schedule and saw this one as a potential NFC Championship Game preview. At this stage of the season, you have to say that both of these teams are in danger of missing the playoffs completely, which would be a surprise of epic proportions. With that in mind, this game is very much drifting into must win territory for both teams. It’s too early to be an elimination game, but as we cross the midway point, sitting below .500 is not the ideal place to be.Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs
This is arguably the best game on the weekend schedule, with both of these teams coming in with 5-2 records. It is the Titans who have all the momentum, though, as they have dug out of an 0-2 hole to win each of their last 5 games. This will be their toughest challenge yet, as heading into Arrowhead Stadium and coming away with a win is one of the toughest tasks in the NFL. The winner of this one put themselves in prime position to battle for the #1 seed in the AFC coming down the stretch.Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals
The race to win the NFC West is a tight one, but it is the Seahawks who are on top at the moment with a 5-3 record. This is another surprise, as I don’t think anyone expected Geno Smith to step in and play as well as he has in replacement of Russell Wilson, who is now plying his trade in Denver. On the flipside, it is a little surprising to see the Cardinals sitting at the bottom of the division, bur things could get tighter still if they win at home on Sunday.
