The New Orleans Saints were completely nice and smooth a year ago in recording a fine, 11-5 record and coming up one game short of reaching the NFC Championship thanks to what is now known as the Minneapolis Miracle. Nevertheless, the Saints will enter the 2018 season as one of the favorites to unseat Philadelphia as conference and Super Bowl champs and from where I’m sitting, it looks like they’ll have a great chance to do just that.Whether the saints reach Super Bowl 53 or not, they’ll take part in a bunch of must-see, must-bet matchups that no NFL fan and betting enthusiast should miss this coming campaign. Here’s my take on those contests.
New Orleans Saints 2018 NFL Betting Guide
Three familiar faces are returning to our roster this season 🙌https://t.co/x5vHfFKqas

Week 1: Sunday, Sept. 9, vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m. ET
The Saints spanked the Buccaneers 30-10 in Week 9 at home last season and I like them to record another similar win in their regular season and home opener against their NFC South divisional rivals, particularly with Jameis Winston out of the lineup for his most recent off-field transgression.NFL Betting Pick: Saints 31 Buccaneers 17Week 3: Sunday, Sept. 23, at Atlanta Falcons, 1 p.m. ET
The Saints split against the divison rivals a year ago with each team winning at home and you had best believe another regular season split is coming in 2018 between these eerily identical legitimate Super Bowl contenders.NFL Betting Pick: Falcons 27 Saints 24Week 4: Sunday, Sept. 30, at New York Giants, 4:25 p.m. ET
While I am expecting the Giants to be a lot better than their pitiful 3-13 campaign from a year ago, the fact of the matter is that New Orleans is the better team in all three phases. New Orleans wins and covers the chalk as a touchdown road favorite against Eli Manning and company!NFL Betting Pick: Saints 21 Giants 21Week 8: Sunday, Oct. 28, at Minnesota Vikings, 8:20 p.m. ET
The Saints want some revenge for their completely discouraging 29-24 road loss against Minnesota in the divisional round that ended their 2017 campaign. The Vikes won’t be easy to beat at all, but I’m thinking the football Gods will give the Saints the payback they deserve for their stunning loss last postseason.NFL Betting Pick: Saints 24 Vikings 23Week 9: Sunday, Nov. 4, vs. Los Angeles Rams, 4:25 p.m. ET
This Week 9 matchup is going to be like the Thriller in Manila – a straight-up street brawl that leaves everyone on the edge on their seat. The Saints get some revenge for their 26-20 road loss to the revitalized Rams in Week 12 last season. I’m thinking a field goal win that plays out as a Push sounds about right!NFL Betting Pick: Saints 31 Rams 28
