One of the best rivalries in football will take place when the Philadelphia Eagles (7-7) host the New York Giants for an NFC East battle at Lincoln Financial Field. The nearly eliminated Giants lost their tenth game of the season, falling to the Cowboys 21-6.
Meanwhile, the Eagles won their second straight, taking down Washington 27-17 on Tuesday Night. With that in mind, let’s have a look at both teams and how they stack up to each other so you can make your bets against their NFL odds.
NFL Betting Preview for New York Giants at Philadelphia
New York Giants Betting Preview: Giants Name Jake Fromm Starter
There’s no way to sugarcoat it; the Giants have been absolutely horrible as of late. The offense is managing just over 300 yards per contest and an atrocious 17 points per game.
Over their last five contests, Joe Judge’s group hasn’t scored more than 13 points in four of those games. To make matters worse, Daniel Jones is officially out for the year, and they will turn to first-time starter Jake Fromm next week.
Mike Glennon failed to take advantage of his time as the starter, throwing three interceptions last week before being benched. The rushing attack hasn’t helped much either as they rank 26th, averaging 96 yards on the ground.
On the defensive side of the ball, the Giants showed improvement recording their first three-sack game since week seven but still conceded 21 points and 328 yards of offense. Despite picking up a fumble, the Giants’ defense hasn’t been good, ranking 25th overall with only 20 takeaways.
Philadelphia Eagles Preview: Hurts and Rushing Attack Go Off in Win Over Washington
The Eagles, on the other hand, actually have something to play for, and this is a team that has started to figure some things out on both sides of the ball.
Particularly on offense, the Eagles have a lethal rushing attack that leads all NFL teams with 165.6 yards per game in addition to posting 26 points per contest. The Eagles welcomed back Jalen Hurts to the offense, and he did not disappoint Cole ring three scores and 332 total yards.
The rushing attack is their bread and butter, picking up 238 yards and 5.8 yards per carry against the Football team. Expect more of the same against a mediocre Giants defense.
Defensively, Philly has looked strong over their last three contests holding opponents to 16 points per game. Additionally, the unit played well against Washington, holding them to 237 total yards and 6/13 on third downs. Overall, this defensive unit ranks 11tg in total defense (329.4) and conceded just 22 points per contest.

I want absolutely nothing to do with the Giants right now. The offense is a complete mess, and they will most likely turn to Jake Fromm for his first NFL start. In addition to firing their offensive coordinator, the offense has scored less than 13 points in four of their last five contests.
The Eagles, on the other hand, are absolutely rolling right now. Their ground attack leads the league in rushing, and Jalen Hurts had arguably his best game yet against the Football Team. Additionally, the Eagles are 3-1-1 ATS at home and 2-0 ATS in their last two home contests. Fly Eagles Fly.
Free Pick: Eagles -9.5
