2022 NFL Over/Under Betting Picks for the Top Games of Week 4

2022 NFL Over/Under Betting Picks for the Top Games of Week 4

Heading into Week 4 of the season, there are now just 2 unbeaten teams remaining, and they are probably not who anyone would have guessed prior to the start of the season. It is the Miami Dolphins and Philadelphia Eagles who remain the only unbeaten teams in the league, with both looking very good in the early going. This, though, is a long season where fortunes can change rather dramatically from week to week. Whether those two will still be unbeaten by the time this weekend comes to a close remains to be seen, but all we are focusing on at the moment is trying to pick some winners for NFL Week 4. For the purposes of this piece, we are going to be looking at O/U picks for the coming week. Let’s jump right in so you can continue betting against the NFL Lines.

Week 4 O/U Betting Picks | 2022 National Football League Analysis

Washington Commanders at Dallas Cowboys (OVER 42)

At first glance, this is a game that screams UNDER, but I am going head in a different direction with this one. Yes, it’s true that both offenses have struggled to get anything going this season. That was pretty much expected with Washington, but the Cowboys have been dealt a tough hand in once again losing Dak Prescott to injury for an extended period of time. With all that we know about these offenses, why would I even consider going with the OVER? The simple answer is that the total is low enough to be tempting, but you also have to consider that the OVER has hit in each of the last 5 games that the Cowboys have hosted Washington.

Minnesota Vikings Vs New Orleans Saints (UNDER 43 ½)

Say what you will about the international games in the NFL, there is nothing easy about playing on a Sunday, boarding a plane to London, and then trying to adjust to the new time zone in time for a game the next week. That is what Minnesota and New Orleans are going to need to do, though, and you have to say that at 1-2, the Saints need this one more than the Vikings. Besides the weariness that comes from travel, which could have an impact on the outcome, there are a lot of things that point to the UNDER here. The UNDER has hit in 7 of the last 9 games the Vikings have played on grass, while the UNDER has hit in each of the last 6 Saints games after an ATS loss.

Buffalo Bills at Baltimore Ravens (UNDER 51 ½)

Prior to the start of the season, these were two teams that a lot of people had pegged as serious Super Bowl challengers. The Bills lived up to the hype in the opening 2 weeks, but they came up short against the Miami Dolphins last week to fall to 2-1. The Ravens have the same record, and they also have the same loss to the Dolphins, so it’s fair to say that this one is evenly matched. Despite both teams being offensively gifted, it is the Bills record against the AFC North that has me looking at the UNDER. Their last 7 games versus teams from that division have gone UNDER the point total.
